If Jalen comes back as expected, dont see the need.
Zero need. He’ll be a starter as a small 5 for Texas. And good for them. He wasn’t going to play here. And if he was, he’s a bit better Jamari Traylor.

2021 class is currently ranked #5. Not too shabby.

Dropped down to 6 now. And only team in top 10 without a 5star player.

Breakdown of entire rotation with Self quotes.

Not a lot of hope out there that Och returns.

This squad still badly needs a lead guard.

Like really bad. I don’t want Wheeler. At all.

It also seems rather clear that Cal prefers TyTy to Hickman. If we would somehow pull off a Hickman miracle, I'm not at all convinced he is the answer there.

If it's Wheeler or nobody then I'm good with Wheeler...he obviously has some negative aspects to his game, but the guy does have some expirence and was top 5 in the country in assists per game last year...maybe you put him in a better program with better players/coaches around him and you get (much) better results.

Wheeler is fine, if you don't have Harris. They're the same player and I think Harris knows what his limitations are more than Wheeler. I saw some statistic last week that shows that Wheeler missed A TON of wide-open shots. Had nothing to do with team around him.

And some website to where you can plug transfers in and whatnot actually made Kansas worse with Wheeler than without him. Can't think of that website name.

Harris actually has a higher TO%, which I found surprising.

But the big difference is in Usage, Harris, is like 8%, and Wheeler is like 26.

They might have similar skill sets, but Wheeler plays (on offense at least) like he's THE man.

Harris plays on offense like he's the 6th option out of 5.

I don't know which is worse, the player who disappears for long spans or the mediocre one who thinks he's the second coming of MJ. (But I know which one Self likes better...and it's the PG who thinks he's the 1st, 2nd AND 3rd best scoring option)
I only came to kick some ass...

Rock the fucking house and kick some ass.

If he is better than Harris, and Harris transfers out after 2022, then I'm ok with that.

Would rather have TyTy.

I think most people would rather have TyTy, but that's not sounding too promising.

I've watched a few Wheeler videos from last season; say what you want, but the dude looks tough AF...had the program's first ever triple double in February against LSU. Not a knock down shooter, he has missed some open shots, but his form is good and he's not afraid to pull the trigger. He loves to drive; puts opposing players on their heels a ton.

I don't care if he's a lot like Harris; if you can't get anyone better, get Wheeler, throw him in the mix, and let's see how it plays out. Bill apparently likes him, so I'm good with it.

Sounds like Marcus Carr is staying in the draft. Even though we seems to be the favorite to land Wheeler, I think I'd go after this guy.

Kansas was close in original recruitment of him.

Go get him. Right now. No questions.

No-brainer to add, if he'll come. Instant-favorite type stuff.

If Remy is going to stay in college, I am hoping it becomes a KU/UK battle for both he and TyTy. Hard to call either a consolation.
