But when you are thinking of great Jayhawks, and you're listing the things that make them great, you most certainly think about if they won a NCAA title.

I know it doesn’t necessarily recognize an entire season’s work, but it’s still an incredibly difficult feat.

We’ve had just as many MOPs as POYs in the Self era, at least.

And an MOP means someone was playing really really well and/or made a really ridiculous play when it mattered the absolute most.

Not to take anything away from Frank, but I really hesitate to think of 2008 as just another year.
