Let me guess. You don't really give a damn what Simone does for a living.
If you did, you might have taken a grand total of 30 seconds to do a bit of research and learn about her.
Since I had a free 30 seconds and you helped raise my curiosity, I did my own research.

Anyways, maybe I am giving you too much credit but I would think you might realize that what happens in other countries very well may have a bearing on what happens to you living your life in the United States.

I don't think her point was that people needed to stay in lockdown, her point was that everyone should be vaccinated.

If you want your vaccine to last in terms of efficacy, and I assume you do, you should also want everyone globally to be vaccinated. The fewer people carrying the virus, the less chance there is for a mutation that evades vaccine protection.

I don't think every discussion needs to be about whether you can get your nails done at the local salon or not. Go get them done, you're vaccinated. That doesn't preclude you from being able to recognize that the protection from the virus is more effective and lasts longer if everyone is vaccinated.
I only came to kick some ass...

Rock the fucking house and kick some ass.

What MICH does with his nails is his business. Live free again. If you dont get your nails done that's more polish for MICH.

Alright, I am 100% on board for caution when it comes to the virus, and even a little bit of personal freedom overreach. But, is the NFL, as a private employer, really going into draft picks' homes, who might have only partial union protection, in the offseason? Am I missing something?

Your issue is that NFL is basically telling Caleb he can't watch with friends, or that NFL is going into players' houses?

Latter. I think it is one thing if a team tells a player he has to bubble or he can't participate in OTA's. But testing should take care of all of that.

Eh, I assume it's mutual agreement. Kids want their day in the sun, I have no issue with it.

NFL has no business goinf into their homes, and no business dictating what they can and can't do....they aren't even employed by the NFL yet

Major redflags with that as far as what the pandemic has allowed and set precedent to allow for corporate (and government) overreach.

it's fascinating the nonsense that has taken place in the name of "covid19 and public safety."

years from now we will look back at this episode and remember it as the biggest clusterphucque in the history of the world. the world couldn't have phucqued this up any worse if it tried.

The additional measures and overreach into private rights and life that was present immediately after 9/11 never went away....they jist got incorporated into life and normalized. This will be no different.

Yes, credit Trump, puppet master Putin and Trump-wannabes Bolsonaro, Duterte, and Modi for being the cluster of said phucques. And, trust me they tried. Many continue to try.

Of these Modi did a great job early on but started to have Trump-style rallies and opened up “festivals” - now they are having 300,000+ cases each day!

not so much that, as it has been the response. the response to the pandemic could not have been worse. practically every move has been wrong. we could have done nothing and be in the same place we are today. minus the 5(?) trillion dollar price tag.

Actually this is a really good point. The 3 oz liquid restriction made no sense (other than feel-good) when it was originally introduced and makes less sense 15 years later
