This country would fall apart if we ever faced another WW2 or an actual threat even 10% greater than COVID-19. We can't even be bothered to step up when needed.

Sigh.

I wonder how much of it is the media.

Would they be like “gut check let’s suck it up guys” or be like “y’all should be OuTrAgEd!!!”

Of course, I suppose a big part of the problem is the type of media. It’s less even “mainstream,” and more so just whatever batshit the fb/YouTube algorithms run with.

He was a Republican, which is a guaranteed loss in this state.

As it should be? Team politics suck. No. It should be based on policy and people, not on the letter. We all suck, this country is in despair.

What is one redeeming quality that is part of the modern Republican Party? They have sworn to oppose 100% of anything which even remotely helps people and society (that’s the literal quote from the Leader in the Senate and not one person has disputed any of that)

Yes, tribal politics sucks but the Republicans have given up on governing and standing FOR anything. We all don’t suck. The Republican Party does. When was the last time they did ANYTHING to help people? If you disagree it says more about your priorities.

I’ve stated many times that I sincerely wish for a 3 party political system in the US. But, as long as the GOP is the Party of Trump, they can fuck off. Blue is the only color that’s acceptable

Less Federal government, more State.
Get back to that central premise and practice it.

I assume it's coincidental but it seems I have felt worse since I have been vaccinated than at any other time during the previous 14 months.
Too frequently I am feeling lethargic, my lungs feel semi "congested", once or twice a day I may get a "hot flash", I'm just not feeling as well as I was before I was vaccinated.
I am not Lobster but I am starting to question if this is vaccine related and if so, will it be a temporary or a permanent on going issue.
If it wasn't for the fact that people being vaccinated (or not being vaccinated) having an effect not just on themselves but on others, I would 100% understand and perhaps even support those who choose not to get vaccinated - with something none of us know the long term effects of.

It's coincidental. It has NOTHING to do with the vaccine.

Go see your primary care physician.
I only came to kick some ass...

We need at least 3 parties.

I also think people are caught up on the national politics only. The things that impact us directly way more than trump or biden are your local and state elections. There are a lot of good candidates still around that are republican at the local level especially
