Re: Automobiles
Thoughts are that until corporations snd governments change their carbon footprint in real ways.... we can all ride witches broomsticks and it wont make a damn bit of difference.

I'd be in it for the tax credits and two decades of saved fuel costs.

i’ve mentioned this before...electric cars have their own inherent problems with the disposal/recycling of the batteries. they can’t be the ultimate solution

I am seeing that a 2021 Hyundai NEXO is $60,000 sticker. I'd want to hold onto that for a long time.

Not to mention, a lot depends on how electricity is generated where you live/charge.TraditionKU wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 12:59 pmi think it’s greatCrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 12:36 pmYour thoughts? I think that for most first-worlders to have real impact on Mother Earth, just consuming much less would help the most, almost regardless of what the stuff requires for fuel or production...
Please, I implore you to be reasonable...

We have a real consumption problem. We need to think less consumption and more conservation.
Fun fact: a century ago “conservation” as we know it now wasn’t even a thing, and any use of the term was in reference to “conserving” all available resources for human consumption.
Oh there’s water in that river? Better use it up til it’s drained dry!
