speaking of bacon...apparently there’s an Oregon company that is make dulse, a smoked and fried seaweed “dish” that tastes like bacon

IMHO bacon is overrated

but I guess it makes sense why so many Mericans geek out about it

for real tho bacon is tasty, but mostly just greasy sinew and not much actual meat.

Just gimme a pork chop.

the best is when the meat:fat ratio is just right, and it’s cooked to just the right crispness to where it basically just melts in your mouth

Depends on how you make it.

I brined, aged and slow smoked a pork belly.

Then sliced and fried as needed.

That sounds good.

Yea, bacon is actually kinda tricky to cook just right.

But again imho I prefer pork chops...maybe even with a little mint for flavor
