My state drops all mandates tomorrow.
I'd put the people who wear them in the next few weeks above 10% but below 30%.

Got my second shot yesterday!

Felt a little out of it last night, and felt straight up hungover this morning even though I didn’t drink, but got up and slammed coffee and made it to volunteer for the habitat restoration project planting willows. #savethefraserriver

Now gonna nap, but dunno if it’s a vaccine nap, post-manual labor willow planting nap, or just a standard issue lazy Sunday nap.

I’d power through and go fishing, but looks like it’s about to storm, so nap life it is.

Why is a vaccine the only thing the govt has decided 15 year olds are responsible enough to decide for themselves?

Well that’s a bit dramatic.

Why should they need parental consent to trust science? This isn’t complicated, the vaccine works and has extremely limited risks. Kids shouldn’t be prevented from protecting themselves because their parents are idiots.

What else can 15 yr olds do without parental consent? They cant even go see a ln R movie. Thats not dramatic.

The list of things they can do probably numbers in the tens of thousands. The list of things they cannot do is probably less than 10-15

Quick trip to Lowe's this afternoon. Masks on employees and me only. Mrs 99 swears that everyone down to the Walmart had one on.

Many States have laws that the gubmint can make medical decisions for their female citizens; the Supreme Court is going to tell them that it is fine. So, there is that.

This thread is 226 pages so I'm not going all the way back, but has there been any discussion around the lab leak origin story of COVID-19?

Like all things, it became politicized in the beginning because Trump and his goons advanced the possibility of a sinister motive behind the development of the virus, rather than an accident in a lab followed by a sinister cover-up.

That caused everyone on Twitter and cable news to reflexively dismiss the idea but I've always thought it had some merit, based on my limited virology education. Lab leaks are rare but have happened for decades. They haven't found the animal source in the wild yet either if it was a natural jump between species.

This matters for lots of reasons, but definitely because if lab leak + cover up by Chinese government is ever proven, then what?
"So, which one of these topics are conspiracy?

1 .911 was done by Israel: okay, if you think that one is conspiracy, I'll just leave that one alone."

In theory, China would owe the world trillions ( not lightly using the word - literally trillions ) of dollars.
Consider our debts paid off.

From what I've read, zoonotic origin seems like the most likely explanation, but there are good and documented reasons to at least investigate the possibility of a lab leak and subsequent coverup.

Of course, things that should be investigated are going uninvestigated quite a lot these days.
