I don't think he's an idiot at all. I wouldn't want him on a Quiz Bowl team or anything but he isn't fundamentally stupid to how regular things work like Trump was. I just think Biden is old and has some antiquated ideas on how to do some things.

pubs basically “cheated” by adding 20 pages of nonsense to the original bill that dems had seen, and then tried to force it through the state legislature

dems tried everything in their power to have an open debate/discussion...they even told the pub chair exactly what they were going to do - exhaust all reasonable options, and then walk out if those options were met with resistance - and the pubs still tried to subvert the legislative process. apparently, in interviews the pub chair basically admitted that mist officials didn’t agree with the bill, but they were scared of their trumpist constituents

I was very tepid on my support for Biden during the primary (I wanted Warren) - but boy was I wrong. Uncle Joe is absolutely the right person for the job at hand and he is doing remarkable work.

Just so people remember- it was a Biden “gaffe” which brought the Democratic Party to their senses on same-gender marriage. He finessed the Republicans on Covid relief and he’s setting them up on other policy matters.

and i agree with you, that he’s probably the best person for the job at this point in history. he wasn’t at all my first choice, but i’ve been pleasantly surprised with what he’s been trying (and been able) to do...on basically everything but immigration.
