There's a reason you don't see dogs dropping dead of Covid, you know. They get chipped practically at birth. Obviously there is a common thread on this one.

I read that anti-vaxxer is now a key identity trait. Like Q, the BS took on life of its own. Mavericks they are. Doing their best to help promote preventable disease. Staring at the sun increases arousal.

Wait...that doesn't sound like the scary "experimental" vaccine that people are warning us about.
It's not the vaccine we should be worried about. It's the microchip.
Ah yes, that pesky microchip that fits through a needle that you barely felt.

Seems logical.
I told em they could just track me using the phone that's always on my person...

Exactly.

I remember my grandpa complaining about getting cable TV. "I don't want the government listening in on our conversations".

the delta strain/variant is now the predominate variant in the UK, and us seeing it’s numbers grow in the US

yet another reason why we need to be concerned with folks other than ourselves

Outbreak at a local guest ranch here!

78% of the ranch employees have been vaccinated, but none of the positive cases have been vaccinated

i gotta say, it’s heartening to see this administration operating from a place of leadership

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... story.html

... The Biden administration is buying 500 million doses of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine to donate to the world, as the United States dramatically increases its efforts to help vaccinate the global population, according to three people familiar with the plans.

The first 200 million doses will be distributed this year, with the subsequent 300 million shared in the first half of next year. The doses will be distributed by Covax, the World Health Organization-backed initiative to share doses around the globe, and they will be targeted at low- and middle-income countries. Pfizer is selling the doses to the U.S. at a “not-for-profit” price, according to the people familiar with the deal...

Why should I be concerned about the Delta variant if I do not live in the UK or India?

At least 62 countries have reported cases of the Delta variant, including US, Germany and Australia. The variant is estimated to be around 40% more infections and leading to around 20% more hospitalisations, (these figures are being refined frequently). The Delta variant was first detected in the UK on the 17th April, it is now estimated to account for around 75% of new infections.

How effective are vaccines against the Delta variant?

Out of 12,383 cases of the Delta variant recorded until June 3, 114 were in hospital, or just 1 per cent. Of those admitted, 83 (66%) were unvaccinated, 28 (22%) had received one jab and just three (2%) had had both doses.

At the time these cases were infected, 24% of the population had at least one dose, and 30% had a second dose. If the vaccine were not effective, we would expect to see far more cases in hospital among those fully vaccinated.

I read a blog entry by someone on that boat. Everyone on board is vaxxed and had to have a negative PCR test before boarding.

But, it is still something I wouldn't go anywhere near, not because I think I'd die, but because as soon as the two positives were discovered, everyone had to go to their room for 24+ hours and receive their meals jail cell style. Why would you pay that money when that possibility is so high?
