It's still crazy that the Duke, Carolina and Indiana jobs were filled by coaches with a combined ZERO games of college basketball head coaching experience.

I agree it's "crazy" but until proven otherwise, I can't say it was a horrible decision.
Off the top of my head, I believe there have been only 2 champions in my lifetime (born October of 1966) that were coached by a guy who had no former head coaching experience. Neither were "blue blood" programs but both were assistants at the school they won at before they became the head coach.
