NewtonHawk11 wrote: Thu Jun 10, 2021 7:59 am Best form US has had in a long time. 1st team is really good, 2nd squad has guys who play in top European leagues. Deepest the squad has probably ever been. EVER.
It's not even close, no USMNT had had half this talent and depth. The fact the almost all of them are in the same age bracket (18-23) is remarkable. There's also more talent on the way. Several 15-17 year old kids playing in Europe right now.

2022 is going to be fun, but 2026 will be the opportunity to do something truly special. A lot of things can change between now and then, but you have to think a run to the Quarter Finals is within reach.
Especially with that cup being on home soil. You're going to create a frenzy that this country has never seen with a sporting event. 2022 "should" be a nice round of 16 showing and a competitive game but lose to like France 3-1. 2026 is when this thing will go to the moon.

I mean everyone saw it. But holy shit Eriksen. Glad he came out ok.

Saw it live and I thought I saw a world class athlete die in front of millions.

VAR.
It kinda sucks.

This whole offsides scrutiny takes the flow out of the game in my opinion.

Love taking a lunch break at work and throwing on some EURO action.

That's the way to actually attempt to stop the behavior.

I dont agree with it ( and I cant stand the Mexican fans ) but this will either be effective or will really backfire.

Good for us, we get our qualifying game v them in an empty stadium.

Not a fan of cooling breaks.
Played soccer in 100 degree heat, no subs, two games a day—you’d find chances to get to the sideline to grab a drink of water.

I’d rather both sides of the field, on both halves, have water or Gatorade bottles that would be easily accessible.

Germany has been a HUGE disappointment over the last few years.
