That's fine. When the Pelcs move to KC, I don't want to have to root for any dookies.

I just wonder if the Golden Knights's massive success will bump Vegas all the way to the top.

You have to think Vegas is #1 in line for every league.

It also feels like the Athletics will be moving to Vegas soon.

A friend mentioned to me that the A's announcing to Vegas soon could be a good thing for KC landing the Pelcs. Come on A's, time to move.

they had better change the name if that happens...don’t need another “Utah Jazz” oddity

There just needs to be a giant re-shuffle:

Kansas City Kings
Sacramento Grizzlies
Memphis Blues

Oh and Utah obviously needs to change. KC Jazz, while not the perfect name here (Kings is), it makes a ton more sense.

I think the leader in the clubhouse, if status quo, would be Monarchs.

the local news is quite comical, actually. all of a sudden during the playoffs they start playing jazz music and act like they’re jazz (the music) fans. the rest of the year, even when covering jazz games, there isn’t a hint of the music

If I were them I’d rename it to the LA Save The Fraser Rivers

And they can change their logo to a pic of me pissing in a mountain stream and flipping the bird

I think there is probably at least one lake near LA. Or, there is one closer than there is anything in Mormonville relating to the black origins of Jazz music.

the ones in that neck of the woods are pretty spectacular

I really don't think you can nail it more than L.A. Cougars.
