Charges
Re: Charges
Yea.
They aided in obstructing the investigation so they could stick to the defense that there was nothing to investigate.

Re: Charges
one need look no further than the jan. 6 commission and the response from mccarthy and most other pubs...the playbook is the same
they have zero desire to actually get to the bottom of it and uncover the truth
wonder why?

You didn't know well before that?TraditionKU wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 5:08 pmpubs were shown to be spineless sycophants?BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 5:06 pmI don't know what I would call the Ukraine call, but perfect isn't it. Although no clue what that has to do with this thread/topic?
What ever came of all that anyway?
Re: Charges
While it may actually be the fact of the matter (Trump being an ignorant blowhard) his whole schtick has been that he’s a brilliant hands-on executive who alone can fix problems. Which is it?BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 4:57 pmYou talk a lot about owners who do/know nothing.....and while often times i disagree, Trump strikes me as someone who might be one that doesn't know a whole hell of a lot about what is going on in the interworkings of his numerous entitites.
Of course the rubes who voted for him don’t know and don’t care to think that far.
Re: Charges
Here’s a good point I heard on the radio:
If you were a bank, would you loan to Trump?
If you were a bank, would you loan to Trump?
Re: Charges
Exactly. Yet banks made loans. Hmmmm….
Re: Charges
Or as the Church Lady might say……
“Could it be………Money………Laundering………”
“Could it be………Money………Laundering………”
Re: Charges
When you put it that way, how did Trump ever get a loan, ever?
Actually didn’t most banks quit doing bidness with him a while ago?
He could pretty much only get a loan from Douche bank and some shady Ukrainian doods

Re: Charges
Yes..but many/most banks probably aren't big enough to take on financing the types of projects he does anyway.ousdahl wrote: ↑Sat Jul 03, 2021 11:59 pmWhen you put it that way, how did Trump ever get a loan, ever?

Re: Charges
In the old days, Trump would just threaten bankruptcy. Rather than take over highly-leveraged properties, banks would extend loans to him. But that was back when Trump was a name banks wanted to be associated with.
Times change.
