No one said she had to wear a mask.
Its become like a weird badge of honor now tho. Well I still wear my mask because i care so much about everyone. I get it, do whatever you want, makes no difference to me...but dont shame people if they dont wear a mask, particularly if theyre vaccinated.
Thats my only point.
Did this person make a comment to someone else about not wearing a mask or do anything to draw a attention to their own wearing of a mask (besides having it on)? Did she announce that she wasn't ill or didn't have a medical condition that made her anxious about still getting covid and was doing it just to look more responsible than others? Probably not.

Which means that you are projecting your own feelings about her onto her. You have zero clue why she is wearing a mask. People get summer colds; two people in our house have already had them since mask mandates were eliminated here. People have lung issues or kids at home who are vulnerable. You have no idea why she is wearing a mask but you went ahead and assumed the worst.

"I get it, do whatever you want, makes no difference to me...but...." You should have just stopped after "makes no difference to me."
It wasnt my story. It was a general statement based on behaviors ive seen. Perhaps your mixing my comment with others anecdotes?

Also. Noted that i shouldve stopped and not told others what to do but yet....you didnt feel compelled to stop yourself from telling me what to do or feel or what i shouldve said or how i should/shouldve responded.

So you created an imaginary person, assigned them imaginary reasonings for their imaginary behavior. Got it.

Have they been able to determine if the delta variant is more or less deadly than the other variants?

it’s definitely not less deadly...the jury is still out on if it’s more deadly

You can definitely see why Missouri is a Covid hot spot. I’m in enemy territory visiting my parents. My wife and I took our 5yo to the local Redneck Carnival. My wife insisted our son wear a mask. I think I counted 3 other people wearing masks tonight… A collection of some of America’s finest people! Central Missouri Ozark folk!

If you're outside then there isn't much reason to wear a mask.

Understandable, but this wasn’t exactly a socially-distanced Carnival… Mouth-breathers standing shoulder to shoulder for their tilt-a-whirl fix.

The cotton candy and bubble gum scented/flavored vape smoke that 250 pound tough guy wanna be dudes with tats puff on?

As far as people wearing and not wearing masks outdoors, I have more of a problem with a mask-less person coughing next to me outdoors than I do a with a mask-less person NOT coughing next to me indoors. People need to realize there is a big difference between being on a crowded sidewalk in a big city compared to being on a quiet sidewalk in rural bumblefuck.

I think though, statistically, most larger cities have a higher percentage of vaccinated people than rural areas ( per capita ). So you could comfortably assume more people attending a NBA game are vaxed than not when you probably couldnt assume that in an outdoor carnival in Missouri.

Hey, I am headed to the grocery store in a few minutes. Want me to grab you some tampons?

Or perhaps a dose of Pfizer?
