I'm sure Lobster has him high on his list.
Not for me. If there was a list of ALL the comedic actors all-time, he'd occupy the last slot.
care to expand on both sentiments?
was he an ant-vaxxer (Carrey kinda is) or conspiracy theorist?
In 1998, at the Aspen U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, when asked which women comics he admired, Lewis answered, "I don't like any female comedians. A woman doing comedy doesn't offend me but sets me back a bit. I, as a viewer, have trouble with it. I think of her as a producing machine that brings babies in the world."[92] He later clarified his statements saying, "Seeing a woman project the kind of aggression that you have to project as a comic just rubs me wrong. I cannot sit and watch a lady diminish her qualities to the lowest common denominator." Lewis explained his attitude as that of an older generation and said women are funny, but not when performing "broad" or "crude" humor.
And I don't personally find him funny, this doesn't make me laugh:
thanks...i was not aware of those comments
i guess it’s probably no different then watching old Wayne and Eastwood movies now that i have an understanding of what kind of men those actors were...or even cosby or michael jackson. heck, i won’t even buy papa johns pizza anymore because of what i know about papa himself
all that said, i still find the original Nutty Professor, and the Bellboy hilarious
