When did the Jayhawks get a football team?
Newton can answer that.

Friday morning is the big day. What should I have for my final supper Wednesday night? No solids all day Thursday...ugh. I'm thinking a thick KC Strip and a loaded baked potato. Eat and drink till I puke.

Well, it's all coming out on Thursday so go for it.
I had my big meal to start clogging up the system after the procedure. CFS and mashed taters & gravy after both times. Mrs 99 drove. I was too focused (freaking out) about the thing to worry about what I wanted to eat before.

Oh yeah. So should I shave my ass just in case there are some cute nurses? I mean, I want to look my best.

I have my first one in about a month and a half. Not looking forward to it, but would rather be all clear.

Thursday only day for it, planning time be back at work that next day. Heard it’s a fast recovery.

Kind of. Depends on the clinic.
The first one I had, the prep area had about 50 or so little cubes curtained off. Strip, get in your gown, they put the IV in and you wait. Then they take you back and you take a nap until it's done. You wake up in recovery or back in your room. They give your caretaker instructions and you're outta there.

Waiting around is the longest part. Once you go back it's pretty quick and the procedure only takes about 10 minutes.

Trust me, nobody there is interested in you.

What if you are still having the big d while waiting? The last dose of the laxative is 1am, I hope I'm done with my biz'd by 6 am. The weird thing is, my stomach is jacked up today, man, I shouldn't have eaten that leftover meatball grinder for lunch, ugh.

You'll be fine. I was done with it a couple hours before it was time to get ready and go.

I know someone on whom the 'cleanser' didn't work as well as planned. They went through all the steps for the colonoscopy but the doc had to stop halfway into the intestine because they found a food dam. True story.

Sautéed spinach fast tracks through me. Like 10 minutes. But I love the stuff.
