I think he still could have been if he had patient. the problem with enaranu is that he had the potential to be good at everything. but he didn't excel at anything. so he failed to carve himself out a roleBasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Wed Jul 07, 2021 9:53 pm Man, Enaruna was such a disaster at KU. I thought he was going to be amazing.

Re: 21-22 lineup
Enaroona never quite had a position, either. Was he a power forward? A wing? A small ball 5?
He showed flashes but never really seemed to do anything comfortably or consistently enough to look like a high major college player.

His release doesn't look THAT slow to me.PhDhawk wrote: ↑Mon Jul 12, 2021 4:12 pmOusdahl is triggered.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon Jul 12, 2021 4:07 pm https://www.instagram.com/reel/CRPbwVxg ... =copy_link
Re: 21-22 lineup
He has good rhythm for a wide open spot shooter. I'm somewhat surprised that he starts his motion so low and his release is only at head height.

What kind of endorsements does this kid need to switch from Gonzaga to KU?

He’s a goofy dude. Moves odd, but is a damn good player. He’s kind of a more athletic Matthew Hurt.

I'm so relieved KU didn't get him. He would have been one of my most hated players to wear Crimson and Blue.jfish26 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 9:00 amDid you see his combine numbers? It'll be easy to hate him on the Zags, but we'd have found a way to love an aggressive 7footer who can shoot.

Re: 21-22 lineup
Don't get me wrong. I want Holmgren over Hurt 365 days out of the year. My comment was about Hurt.
He'll tear it up, but I wonder about his ability to bang with a McCormack or Garza type of big down low. I understand the game is going away from that, but if you have a major size mismatch in weight, it'll be definitely noticed.

What were his combine numbers?
And trying to wrap my mind around a dood that size. Mitch gets thrown around at the 5, and he’s got like 30+ pounds on Chet

I just looked at Hurt's numbers. Woof.
Among all Forwards..
25" standing vertical
Slowest 3/4 court sprint
Bottom third of all agility.

Agreed on the size/strength aspect. Although it's a double edged sword. DMac types have to follow him out to the perimeter. And so often it depends on how the refs call the game. Sometimes those skinny fuckers get more calls because it looks like they're getting thrown when they really aren't.

I mean, there but for the grace of God go I, but I'm also not trying to make a living being a world-class athlete.
