It's a fundamentally stupid course of action to choose to go ahead and allow people to get sick and then give them drugs to treat that illness rather than to give them drugs to attempt to reduce the likelihood of getting that illness.

We have great new advances in surgical procedures to reduce the likelihood of dying after a car accident, too. That doesn't mean everyone should stop wearing seat belts.

If the media can convince the public that they need a vaccine every 6 months (from a few limited makers), that's going to be far more lucrative in the long run.

The government has never cared if you get sick. They like it when you are sick so that big pharma can make more money and then the government gets their cut. I laugh when I read these "studies" that claim "vitamin D shows no evidence against covid". We've thrown out the science in favor of "health officials." Speaking of, Fauci is completely fucked.
