since you want to continue to beat this horse, let’s remind everyone what the title and entire theme of this thread is...more evidence that religion makes you dumb

1) either the mom, or fox, thought it necessary to include religious details in the story (otherwise i wouldn’t have given it a second thought)

2) she was at church when it happened, so maybe this was god’s way of telling her that spending time with her kids should take priority over spending time in church

3) mom didn’t answer when her daughter first called. maybe if she hadn’t been so worried about praying, she woulda picked up the phone the first time

4) maybe praying doesn’t matter, and this was just god’s plan for the girl...paralysis, pain and trauma

5) maybe the girl is a little bitch, and god was smiting her

or, maybe shit just happens, regardless of whether you believe in god or pray

You can't handle that some people are religious. It's weird.

And it's also quite telling that had that story been posted somewhere other than fox and been about a religious black person or someone who is Islamic and religous, it wouldn't have triggered you at all. But white christrian = time to freak out and say classless shit about a kid and mom.
