Colonoscopy

I made it guys. Pre-day prep just fvcking sucks. I was still pissing out my ass until after 3 am. 9 hours of full blown diarrhea is not fun. I finally fell asleep around 3:30am and my alarm went off at 5:30. Felt horrible in the morning. Immediately had one last blowout before getting in the shower.

After that, it's easy. My Mom picked me up at 6 am, drove to the clinic, check-in, go to a waiting room, undress, put a gown on and within 30 minutes they were taking me back. Lay on your side, IV in arm and then literally I was out. Woke up less than an hour later, doc came in, along with my Mom, and went over results. All clear, just a few very small polyps removed.

Still kind of dragging. My mom drove me home, made me an omelette, ate about half of it and then crashed out for the last 3 hours. Still not really hungry.

I weighed in at 187.5, which is probably 3-4 lbs lighter than I was just a few days ago. Crazy. Water and shit adds up.

Yeah I'm still not really hungry. I did finish the omelette after my nap. My stomach still just doesn't feel great. I was starving before I started the Suprep, that nasty shit just killed my appetite. I've drank a 7up, a couple gatorades and water. Thinking about grabbing a bud light out of the fridge, probably wait till later.

Oh geesh guys, my ass is so sore from pissing out my ass and I still have 3+ more hours to go and another Suprep drink. This is BS. I'm glad I bought flushable wipes and baby powder. Just watched Sling Blade, 2.5 hour movie took 4 hours.

My stomach just feels in knots. I don't know how I'm going to get that last drink down w/o throwing up, it is nasty shit. Then I have to drink 32 more ozs of water before 2 am. I'm never getting any sleep.

I better be pretty cleaned out, I mean the piss from my ass is clear, but I still have another fvcking Suprep.

Like I said, have fun pissing the steak and potato out of your ass.
Well, the good thing is it seems everything has gone as it's supposed to. Hopefully the procedure will too.
Imagine if you only had/have one toilet and it broke (either wouldn't flush or overflowed) in the middle of your "prep".

I was thinking about that because my upstairs half bath is under construction/re-model, so I only have the downstairs full bath. I figured it's all piss at this point, I would just use the shower.

Yeah, just glad it's over. Went to bed last night at 9,slept a good 10 hours. Feeling much better this morning, still not real hungry, just ate a light meal for dinner last night.

Anybody else who's had one feel like they were punched in the gut and sore. My abdomen is still tender.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Only a few small ones were removed. And thanks for the well wishes, I just won't be doing anything real physical for a few days.

Your doc should have told you when to stop eating.
I think two days before it was broth and Jell-0 and then nothing the day before.

LOL...yeah, the prep sucks. Mine was scheduled on a Friday at 7:30am, so I could only have liquids Thursday, but I could eat normal food all day Wednesday, but I believe nothing after 10 pm. Thursday (your today), will be no fun and you will really start to get hungry by the afternoon. I drank a lot of chicken broth, along with Jello and Apple juice. Plus coffee, coffee and more coffee all day.

That's the easy part. The "shit" part is when you have to start taking the prep drinks (I had to take 2 six hours apart starting at 5pm and then again at midnight). It fuggin sucks.

Good luck. Might want to get some wet wipes or vaseline because your ass will be sore from pissing...lol.

Make sure it's not red Jello and/or Powerade. Probably blue and purple too. Unless your Doc says it's ok.

Yeah I got some orange and blue jello and loaded up on some blue and orange Powerade. And I'm a bit water drinker, so will do that to help fill up a bit as well.
