Not even close. It IS a personal choice. I took the damn vaccine, I still believe it is...and has to be...a personal choice. Am i being anti vax? After taking the damn vax?
I mean, yeah, so is walking up to mike tyson and calling him a pussy.

Having a choice doesn't mean there isn't a right and a wrong answer. Let's not pretend that not getting vaccinated has ANY merit. The right thing to do is to get vaccinated...objectively.

Not getting vaccinated is an immoral thing to do, it's bad for the economy, and it's bad for the health of the individual and his/her community. There's really not a good argument to not getting vaccinated.

All you can do is provide information and opportunity. Trying to force or mandate or shame people into it and calling them stupid is only going to fortify their resistance.

But if we're going to say it's a personal choice.

We also need to mention that it's a dumb one, and one with life-threatening consequences.

It needs to be made clear that it's NOT a personal choice in the way that picking out shoes is a personal choice. It's a personal choice in the way that driving recklessly is, or chain smoking is.

What television news do you watch?

Some sources are pushing this 40% number and calling them "fully" vaccinated and seem to be playing to a crowd that wants to downplay the efficacy. The actual British reports seem to show that 40% of "partially" vaccinated are being hospitalized with the bulk of those hospitalized being people who got one vaccination, but not both.

It's probably an honest editorial mistake by Flag and Cross, The Western Journal and USSA News.

Granted, this is somewhat stale but.....

https://www.rte.ie/news/2021/0716/12356 ... -analysis/

So far, 257 people have died with the Delta virus in England - and 163 of these had received at least one dose of a vaccine. The biggest group of fatalities - 116 - were people aged over 50 who were fully vaccinated, having received two doses of the vaccine.

Really conflicts with the data that the state of Virginia is reporting. They've started to separate cases based on vaccinated vs unvaccinated. As of today 54% of the population there is vaccinated.

https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronaviru ... on-status/

99.4% of all cases are in people not fully vaccinated.
98.65% of total hospitalizations are people not fully vaccinated.
99.03% of deaths are in people not fully vaccinated

Or the Biden administration has spoken with them and now they're trying to do the right thing?

You can't piss and moan for someone to do something, and then we they finally do it ridicule them for doing the right thing (finally).
