No. She didn't bring up Trump, the question was about Trump. Her answer actually de-politicizes it.

Instead of saying she would listen to a politician, she said she would listen to non-partisan experts. That's de-politicizing. Not gymnastics. Not even complicated.

Did she think trump was churning up vaccine concoctions in the white house bathtub? I mean come the fuck on.

Her attitude was Trump isn't telling me to do a damn thing. And who can blame her for that. But it's politicizing the vaccine.

She gave no indication of believing that

But said no when asked if she'd take a vaccine he recommended?

Then why are Biden and other politicians on TV telling people to get vaccinated if only Fauci and other doctors are who we should listen to according to the VP?

I am just trying to understand why her answer isn't clearly politicizing the vaccine? And yes, she was set up to do exactly what she did with that question which was give a petty answer.

i believe her point was that she would trust the health experts over politicians (while simultaneously throwing a jab at trump)

that is exactly what Biden is doing...trusting health experts

it shouldn’t be this hard

I agree. And she's right.

But the jab contributes to the politicization of the vaccine/pandemic imo.
