The fact that the overwhelming amount of evidence in support of vaccination has not fortified their belief that the vaccination is necessary but name calling fortifies their stance to not get vaccination means that they have chosen to resist no matter what.TDub wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 11:31 amAll you can do is provide information and opportunity. Trying to force or mandate or shame people into it and calling them stupid is only going to fortify their resistance.PhDhawk wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 11:28 amI mean, yeah, so is walking up to mike tyson and calling him a pussy.
Having a choice doesn't mean there isn't a right and a wrong answer. Let's not pretend that not getting vaccinated has ANY merit. The right thing to do is to get vaccinated...objectively.
Not getting vaccinated is an immoral thing to do, it's bad for the economy, and it's bad for the health of the individual and his/her community. There's really not a good argument to not getting vaccinated.
I think the vast majority of people who answered "I am waiting for more info" vs "hell no, I will never do it" are the same groups that didn't support Trump in polling but ended up voting for him. Being too embarrassed about your decision to be truthful about it should tell you what a poor decision it is.
