Finding New Shit on TV
Re: Finding New Shit on TV
Anyone watching Ratched? I'm four episodes in. Crazy stuff.

Mare of Easttown has been very good. Sort of upends a lot of the limited series whodunit tropes.
Re: Finding New Shit on TV
SNL did a spoof of Mare of Easttown. Mrs 99 has been watching the series. I may have to check it out.

I've been watching Lucifer on Netflix, it's ok.

Halfway into the first season of The Crown. I like it so far. No clue how historically accurate it is. Young Queen Elizabeth is impressive.
Re: Finding New Shit on TV
Watched In the Heights with the gang last night. Really great. Makes you wonder what they could have done (come on, this is America, what they *will do*) with a true film adaptation of Hamilton.

I lived in Morningside heights ( just a name given to the area so they could call it something other than Harlem ) and that movie ( yes, I know Washington heights is 40 blocks north ) nailed the feel.

Anybody watching DEVS on Hulu. Wow. 2001: Space Odessy style with Kubrick's almost painful brevity.

I used to go watch a lumberjack competition/log show in a little town called Deming Washington. Pretty cool stuff.
