This country is fucked. I'll take the under on the violent civil war within the next 40 years. The far sides are so extreme.
So you’re the arbiter of what religious beliefs get exemptions and for what things?

Their body their choice, right?

It doesn't need to be religious, that was just one example. If Jethro doesn't want the vaccine then i will stay away from Jethro. He shouldn't be force vaccinated.

If public places aren't safe then nobody should be in public places. If stopping the spread of the virus completely is the goal then we should all stay home. It's either okay to spread the virus or not. It can't be that it's okay for vaccinated people to spread the virus, but not okay for unvaccinated people to spread the virus.
Not my point and don't care to argue yours.

Your religious freedom has limits.
Exactly. Anti-vaxxers can have religious exemptions the same time Hindus get exemption for their tax dollars going to beef and pork producers.
I mean....hindus are allowed to eat pork. Its also not explicitly anti hindu to eat beef.

Its simply suggested to treat aninals fairly. But its not forbidden to eat either of those meats.

You're not forced to be around anyone unvaccinated. You can stay home or stay in places where you know you're safe.

The government can't protect you from the virus.

I think every single business and employer should require proof of vaccination. And if they don't then i won't go to those places.

It gets more complicated because this is basically a deadly flu now. Eradication is unlikely. Too far gone. Too widespread and immunity only lasts a short time.

Time to accept the virus is among us for the long haul. If that is as worrisome to you as it is to me then you should begin to adjust your lifestyle accordingly.

Well then tell me why the “religious beliefs” of someone who refuses a vaccine on that basis superior to someone who believes that they shouldn’t subsidize pork production.

Let the vaccinated create their herd immunity by being vaccinated and socially distancing.

Let the unvaccinated create their herd immunity by becoming infected and/or dying.

Until it dies off the 2 sides should stay away from each other.

So we have to agree on the causes that our tax dollars go towards?

One is literally injecting someone's body with something. The other is not.

Terrible comparison and strawman.

So both of you agree that exemption from public obligation based on “religious beliefs” is stupid

If I don't think it's safe for me or my family outside then we will stay inside until all the unvaccinated idiots die off. The vaccine makes it safe for me to go outside so i go outside. When it wasn't safe i stayed in.
You're on here defending their "rights" all day, so clearly you do care.
