I spend my time worrying about myself and my family. I don't give a damn about idiots not getting vaccinated and potentially dying. If I don't think it's safe for me or my family outside then we will stay inside until all the unvaccinated idiots die off. The vaccine makes it safe for me to go outside so i go outside. When it wasn't safe i stayed in.

You're on here defending their "rights" all day, so clearly you do care.

Nah. Don't care. I hope they change their minds and get vaccinated though. Although it won't make much difference unless they're willing to do it every year. What % of our population gets a flu shot every year? Almost the exact same that has received the covid shots. This is not new.

Agreed.

But they're not all "your" airplanes restaurants grocery stores theaters shopping malls city buses subways and everywhere else. So whoever owns an operates those things you mentioned will need to require it as well. And if they don't it'll be your choice to go somewhere else. I will do the same. Hopefully most business owners share your stance, but something tells me about 45% of them don't. So stick to our 55% and let them stick to theirs.

Life as a citizen of the United States begins when you are born meeting the criteria for citizenship. The Constitution applies to citizens of the US.

When the restrictions start coming back I'm going to be pissed, and I'll be pissed at the unvaxxed. If I have to teach online again, if Microsoft grandkids has to play hockey with a mask, if I can't eat at my favorite restaurant because of reduced seating, etc, etc, I will be passed at the unwanted. If I was a gym owner, theater owner, bar owner etc etc I'd be mad as he'll at the lazy irresponsible cowards who won't get a harmless shot.

No mask mandate here in DFW, my 5yo starts Kindergarten next week. He will wear a mask anyway, so will much of his classmates… He’s used to it, unfortunately.

I wouldn’t fight to the death but I’d be opposed to the federal or state government mandating that people wash their hands and enforcing it by installing scanners at businesses etc that would determine if your hands were clean enough.

When restrictions come back i won't be pissed at anyone. I will be pissed there is a virus. Restrictions are meant to help keep us safe. Many establishments will ignore the restrictions. I won't go to those places.

Last time restrictions were put in place restaurants were closed, but casinos weren't. Because keeping people safe is important, but making money for the states is too. So it's okay to spread the virus as long as it makes the states enough money?

Responsible people should get vaccinated and stay home/socially distance from those outside their household until this is over. Which may be years or decades. It may also take getting a shot every single year. Stop depending on the idiots amongst us to keep you safe. That's a futile effort.

Not sure what my kids school will do yet. If no masks my kids probably will stay home. The masks protect infected from spreading the virus as easily. It is minimally effective at preventing infection.

No it wasn't. Vaccinated individuals are still contracting and spreading the virus. The ONLY way this was avoidable in this country is if the virus never left China where it originated (either naturally or in a lab).

Is the flu virus completely avoidable? We have vaccines for that virus too. And it's less contagious than covid.
