Re: Totally random thread
I like Aspen, but I'm not as outdoorsy as many.
Re: Totally random thread
Right on.
Yeah, Aspen’s cool.
We’re looking basically for somewhere to get a room within walking distance of food/drink/maybe even music or some other attraction, and Aspen’s usually good for that.
My concern with that direction is, I70 is closed thru Glenwood canyon, and the other route over independence pass was a mess even before that.
And while some hiking or swimming or something might happen, dunno if it’ll be a super outdoorsy trip overall. I already proposed camping but think she wants creature comforts.
I’m honestly not picky. If I get time with her, and also a good buzz on ideally before dark, I’ll be good.

Aspen is a hell of a drive for you. But that combo of independence pass and aspen would be a panty dropper.
Re: Totally random thread
Dangit I can’t believe I started discussing Aspen without making some dumb and dumber reference first.
“I dunno, the French are assholes…”
For real though, I’ve been, but the only thing I remember about the place is the Gonzo Gallery

What do people think of Cripple Creek? It wasn't totally my thing, but could be good for an overnight.
I'm interested in Fort Collins.

Ouray would be cool but that’s a bit of a haul.
Just a few minutes from there tho is Orvis hot springs. I wonder if she’d be game…
What’s up with green mountain falls or cripple creek?

I’ve caught a couple random shows in FoCo. Also done a couple brewery tours, and lake day at Horserooth.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 12:01 pm What do people think of Cripple Creek? It wasn't totally my thing, but could be good for an overnight.

What I haven’t done, is what I’ve done at Boulder and other college towns, which is usually a blast: get a room within stumbling distance of downtown, and stay out all night eating and drinking and maybe catching live music and making friends with college kids and townies.
I’m not as familiar with FoCo or whether it has a focused downtown experience, but I’m curious

I have just heard that they have a good brewery game.
Re: Totally random thread
I just like ouray
Green mtn is a cool little town, good hiking, good little bar, good bfast spot. Not as busy as woodland park, close to garden of the gods, can see pikes peak
Cripple creek seems like a cool little historic western town. Havent soent much time there though

Shout out to Boulder, for so far being the only town with an online event calendar that’s actually a calendar.
You can find a particular date and see what’s going on and everything!
All these other towns are just some totally random hodgepodge of postings with no particular order or organization to it - a live show Saturday, and a farmer’s market last weekend, and a town bored meeting next Wednesday, and an art fair in September, and oh we’re back to this Saturday for children’s choir!

Also, this seems fake and we need (nude) pics of this chick for verification.
