No, it's just paying attention to the real legislation passed by real GOP members.

I am not going to get into a nitty picky argument with you today. The mere thought of it drains me of energy and I am simply running low today. You can go do some research of your own on what's going on if you're genuinely unaware.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 10:56 amWhat specific parts do you think are unfair voter suppression?

He's not a troll, just a pest. I don't feel like quibbling over stupid shit that has been covered ad nauseum on this site.Overlander wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 11:20 amPerfect response to a trolltwocoach wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 11:17 amI am not going to get into a nitty picky argument with you today. Re: Lord of the Rubes - The Voter Fraud Chapter
I've done similar "research" to you I would imagine. Lets stop pretending like you do much more than watch CNN/MSNBC and read online articles like the rest of us.
Some of the "voter suppression" outrage seems unjustified when I've looked into the new or proposed legislation in various states. So i was genuinely curious if there were specific parts that bother you?
Because it sort of seems like sometimes people are outraged because the TV told them to be outraged...and/or outraged over their perceived intent behind the legislation.
Some of the changes to rules/processes that i have "researched" seem reasonable. Not all. But some. Maybe even most.

More dumb assumptions based on your inaccurate opinion of others. Thank you for confirming why I won't be continuing this further.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 11:31 am I've done similar "research" to you I would imagine. LOL you probably would continue it if you had specific examples, but you don't, and also don't feel like "researching"...so you're going the "i can't be bothered today" route.
Just more assumptions though LOL

Re: Lord of the Rubes - The Voter Fraud Chapter
if twocoach would just come out and say " because don lemon says so" we can all just move on.
Re: Lord of the Rubes - The Voter Fraud Chapter
I haven't watched a single episode of Don Lemon's silly show in years.
My post from Jan 30, 2019: " I'm a liberal and I can't stand Don Lemon, either."
My post from Feb 12, 2020: "I do not have a reading problem. But there is no such thing as an unbiased public opinion.
A video of Joe Rogan blabbering his bias fueled opinion on YouTube is no difference than Don Lemon blabbering his bias fueled opinion on CNN.
Opinion = Bias"
I think I have been pretty consistent about what I think of the evening opinion shows on CNN. I don't watch either Lemon or Cuomo.

are you saying that “we” don’t all fit into illy’s box labeled “liberals”?
shocking, i tell you, that there is so much nuance among people’s political beliefs and leanings, that overly generalizing an individual leads to false assumptions...just, shocking
Re: Lord of the Rubes - The Voter Fraud Chapter
Didn't you just get done spending 4 years lumping everyone on the right into 1 big group based on assumptions and over generalizations with little nuance?TraditionKU wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 1:36 pmwoah, woah, woah, woah...twocoach wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 1:16 pmI haven't watched a single episode of Don Lemon's silly show in years.

This thread gets better and better. The ultra libs are so oblivious to their hypocrisy. Limited self awarness because they just know they're always right and so smart they'd never fall for the okedoke.
And fwiw, I watch all 3 major news stations (CNN MSNBC and FoxNews). I don't know how it's possible to avoid them, especially when there is "breaking news" (although CNN thinks everything is urgent breaking news, but that's another discussion).
Re: Lord of the Rubes - The Voter Fraud Chapter
now, i have labeled the republican party the "anti-science" party (for good reason, imo)...but that's about as broad of a brush that i've painted with
in fact, i've explicitly made the distinction between elected pubs and their electorate. i've made distinctions between the likes of ted cruz and josh hawley, and then those like liz cheney...and even mitch mcconnell
i've said that the pub party harbors racists, but i've not once called all republicans racist
sorry if that doesn't fit your narrative, and makes it harder to ride that centrist fence
