My Director's 4 year old grandson has COVID and is at Children's Mercy. Guess his fever was getting pretty high. His other daughter is a nurse at Children's Mercy and says they are being overrun with kids with COVID. Crazy and scary.

God forbid adults in this country gave a shit about kids - other than their own.
Remember when we had a whole bunch of fucks (mostly Republican) including our former President who basically said kids don't/won't get the virus but if they do - they will be fine?

For the past year and 7 or 8 months, kids have gotten Covid and some have suffered.
Some have died.
To minimize it is complete bullshit to me - when I feel one kid suffering is one too many.
I would think most would agree. Especially if/when it's THEIR kid.

Yea, just saying that it seems delta is hitting younger people significantly more than the original. The original rona really didnt impact kids. That was the prevailing thought across most people not just republicans but also health care professionals. It was pne of the bright of a bad situation. Now that light has burnt out with the variant.
