Folks responded with boos.
It shows its not just about trump or left vs right. people have an issue with authority in general demanding or encouraging or whatever that they get health treatments they dont necessarily need

Most fox news hosts regularly say they've gotten the shot and encourage people to speak with their own personal doctor if they have any questions/concerns about the virus.

I think social media is FAR more to blame than Fox News.

Just in the US.
For almost 2 years? Not really a big deal. Its about how many die from cancer or heart disease in 1 year
Yeah, Cancer and Heart Disease are big deals. They're the two leading causes of death, Covid is #3.

AND...Cancer and Heart Disease are catchalls, They don't distinguish between carcinoma, melanoma, leukemia, testicular cancer, breast cancer, etc.

I'll admit some people exaggerate how bad covid19 is, but I don't get what you get out of so grossly downplaying it. You don't look tough or cool or well informed, you just look like an idiot who doesn't understand the world around him.
I literally just talk about numbers and percentages. not emotions. you get scared and emotional about the 1 percent of the picture and I look at the entirety. If you stopped ignoring the other 99 percent of the picture, you wouldn't be posting all doom and gloom whenever you speak. I'm not trying to downplay it or invalidate peoples feelings, but sometimes its better to reign things in and be a little more realistic about a tough situation. 2 years into a process is past time to start being a little more realistic

I also post numbers. It's the third leading cause of death and it's something that less than 20% of the population has contracted.

It's not about doom and gloom its about being realistic. Ignoring an issue doesn't make it go away. Nero fiddling didn't prevent Rome from burning.

And again, not only is covid more than 1% lethal, it has a ton of long term and serious effects and you're stupidly ignoring them all. It invalidates your opinion.
I only came to kick some ass...

Rock the fucking house and kick some ass.

The guy with the Life Science doctorate seems not at all scared or emotional, but rather frustrated and finally (he's human!) like he may have lost his patience.

imo, of course.
Please, I implore you to be reasonable...

Think of the rush to healthcare providers if there was a vax/cure for cancer. Actually, there is a conspiracy theory that one already exists but the government won't release it--it's hard to keep up.

My bad! (I'm aging myself by saying that).

On another Covid related note, I am not happy my mother is taking cabs and public transportation these days but I also don't want her sitting alone in her apartment all day. So what is a fat fuck son to do?
Sure I want her to enjoy what's left of her life but I don't want her spending it in the hospital with Covid.

333,985,000
15,000

15000 sounds bad if you wanna focus in that.
But that mean there's almost 334 million that aren't hospitalized with covid. Sad but still small potatoes

The us has a really unhealthy population. We're like a sick unfit herd finally dealing with some natural selection. Despite the doom and gloom reporting, covid is barely affecting our population statistically
