Good for them. They're both vets. Clearly were able to plan and get there without the WH and/or pentagon helping (or even fucking knowing)...and now they're back. No significant harm done.

Smart ass comments aside, you're generally a nice dude to me, and i feel your pain about kids covid and school. We are monitoring closely and will pull ours at the first site of trouble. I know that's not an option for everyone. But safety of my kids comes first. Jobs learning etc can all be replaced. Lives can't. Hoping this works out for all of us and our kids.

Sorry, I just don’t care about Afghanistan. There was no preventing this. The Taliban was marching back in sooner or later. Just get our folks out safely (and we have).

Because they started getting vaccinated before us. Turns out vaccine effectiveness starts waning after 5-8 months. And that's fair. It was a fucked situation. But Biden has done especially bad all things considered imo. Even CNN and MSNBC have been bashing him over it.
...and I can't help but feel the left would care about this a whole hell of a lot more if the Trump team were the ones making the mistakes or giving the press conferences.
After the last 4 years it just is really ironic. I guess this is just how it always is going to be. Maybe it's always been this way and I never noticed because i was young and before Obama I wasn't really paying much (any) attention to politics on the daily because i was in college and then after i was living by a beach golfing every day for a few years.
