Can/will anyone give me a Cliffs Notes version of what happened to the Nebraska Football Program this millennium?
They have been absolute trash for much/most of it.
They made Bielema come off like Saban today.

It has been all down hill since they fired Solich and moved to the big boy football conference of the B10. Doctor Tom ruled the Big 8 because he could recruit into Cali and Texas and then put the Nebraska farms boys as walk on offensive lineman. The Nubs reign of terror also coincided when they could consistently beat up on bad Big 8 / 12 opponents. Pelini, might have worked out but he and his brothers were dirt bags and got ran out of town. Then Doctor Tom suckered Frost to come back and it has become even more of a disaster.

Really there downfall kind of resembles KU's. Bad QB play and coaching hires will kill a program.

It is always about matching skills to players. Martinez would thrive in a Cromwell run oriented scheme. That 75-yard running TD was no fluke. Their defense is really good. Special teams was just awful. Trash yesterday. They keep giving the ball away on offense and blowing leads.
