Death or serious long term complications are ridiculously rare. Especially when factoring in that something like 50% of cases are asymptomatic and never identified because the vast majority of asymptomatic cases/people don't go get tested to count on the running totals being kept for various things.
Shall we remove seat belt laws and tell car manufacturers that we'd rather our cars be cheaper and not have air bags? What if I prefer the freedum of not wearing a seat belt?
