Kansas Football 2021 Season
Re: Kansas Football 2021 Season
Just bought tickets to go to my first KU football game for Parent's Weekend on September 18th vs. Baylor. At least it will be nice to see my kiddo again.

I'm not glad about saying this, but it would be incredibly encouraging if we could just look like representative competition tonight.nu_bronco wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 8:55 pm I think CC is a good team. I hope that Newton is right that some of the loose balls bounce to KU this time. But I think CC will win. It will suck to lose to them but we did that twice at KU so losing to them at their home when they have even more experience together as a team will not be a shock. Hopefully, KU can run the ball better and control the clock to to try to keep the score closer. Moral victories aren't good but we all knew that is part of the process. KU can't go from 0-12 to 12-0 or even 6-6 without some moral victories.

Exactly, I'm tired of being the Washington Generals.
Defense. Rebounds.

Nice. Go for the rooftop patio at Oread pregame with her and her friend(s). I would say the patio at the Wheel, but everyone varies on their kid using a fake ID.

I just want KU to improve enough to look like a bad P5 team instead of a mediocre FCS team.jfish26 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 7:42 amI'm not glad about saying this, but it would be incredibly encouraging if we could just look like representative competition tonight.nu_bronco wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 8:55 pm I think CC is a good team. Feeling good if we cover the spread.
Feeling great if we keep it close.
Splitting a keg of kool-aid with Newton if we win,

It’s a 26 point spread. A simple cover means nothing.

Their speed option runs and screens gave us fits last year. The game will hinge on defensive prep. I feel good about that side of the ball. Mostly I want the coaches to have our guys amped and competing. Beat the crap out of CC players with the monkey yanked off of their backs.

I can distinctly remember a Friday night road game against Boston College NO one, including myself gave the Hawks a chance. I am hoping for similar results.
Hell, I would be happy with 60 minutes of competitive football.

If we want to impress the Big10 then we need to win this game. Let's get a statement win!

Missed PAT, Missed 2PT, blocked punt for a TD, 4th and 1 with terrible call, and wide opened drop easy 1st on 4th down. It's all there, just not executing.

My gosh is our o-line bad. Just awful. Amazing how bad they are or have been that two weeks in a row FCS teams have whipped them.

I'll be damned. Some how being down 27, and I'm feeling pretty damn good.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 10:49 amNot true. It means I'm feeling good.dub needs a codpiece wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 10:47 am It’s a 26 point spread. A simple cover means nothing.

Actually think for the most part, they have been pretty good tonight. Bad moments sure, but CC is good. Really good.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 9:44 pmCC ain’t FCS, bro.holidaysmore wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 9:37 pm My gosh is our o-line bad. Just awful.
