"And while the cases of missing White women are given more focus and urgency, people of color are disappearing at disproportionate rates. According to 2020 FBI data, Black people make up 35% of missing persons reports but only 13% of the US population. White people, meanwhile, make up 54% of missing persons reports and 76% of the US population. "

Re: Totally random thread
some cases just catch the public interest.
I remember the country freaking out about the Elisa Lam case in 20....13?
she wasn't white, blonde, or American. it was/is a fascinating case though. The hotel took her.

Re: Totally random thread
Wait, he’s not even wanted on homicide charges, but rather debit card fraud
After her death he took out cash from an account that didn’t belong to him

Re: Totally random thread
his parents loaded up a camper and drove away with him to "go camping" and we're gone 3 days. That's long enough to get to South Texas and drop him and his supplies off across the border and get back. Then they dropped the car and other camper off at the swamp as a distraction.

i’d heard about the camper and trip reported by neighbors, but nothing about texas/mexico
Re: Totally random thread
just spitballin.... the camping trip with his parents has to be a cover and a concocted plan to hide him. Florida to South Texas is about 18 hr drive. 3 days is enough with 2 drivers to get there and back and be gone for a "3 day camping trip".TraditionKU wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 9:11 amis that an actual theory, or are you just spit-ballin?TDub wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 8:51 amhis parents loaded up a camper and drove away with him to "go camping" and we're gone 3 days. “How to be Your Own CSI: Collecting your Child’s DNA” is a how-to guide available at BlackAndMissingInc.com. It provides a DIY lesson that no family should ever have to learn. But unfortunately for Black, Latino, Native American and other marginalized people whose loved ones disappear in the United States, law enforcement and media help often comes too little, too late.
In a country that suffers from regular, feverish bouts of “missing White girl syndrome,” the families of non-White people who go missing often have no choice but to take matters into their own hands.
In the United States, Black people account for a third of active missing cases in the FBI’s National Crime Information Center database, despite only being 13 percent of the population. Native Americans also appear on the list disproportionately...

But this laundry guy just doesn’t seem real bright.
Don’t think he exactly called the right vacuum guy about a dust filter.
Thinking he turns up, and under some dumbass circumstances too.
One of his redneck buddies or something will talk, just so they can get their own 15 minutes of fame with the Dog
