This Monday night game is entertaining so far. That last touchdown throw by Goff was well placed.

Yeah in my before the season rankings, I thought about making the other 3 of the NFC West the Wild Cards. That division is loaded. The West divisions are the best in football.

AFC North and West are pretty close. Depends on how much you buy LV.

Despite the result, KC is way better than BAL, and I'm guessing each division gets exactly 2 in the playoffs.

That's pretty high on SF imo.
Lions aren't good, I think the Eagles are pretty average.

Don't be so sure.
A) Fields is overrated. B) He will get injured at some point.

I mean, I would have gone Dalvin Cook all day, but I get your point.

One of you please help me out. I don't get the "point". Unless you knew McCaffrey was going to get injured, then a person might not be an "idiot" for drafting Mahomes ahead of him, but most people would agree that it probably wouldn't have been a smart choice.

CMC has a history of injuries. RBs have a higher chance of season ending injuries. More and more multiple RB backfield and time shares are more common...
3rd down backs and goal line backs vulture TDs.

QBs dont change based on personnel packages.....usually

QBs are more protected and less abuse in general

at the end of the year who has the most fantasy points? like the top 8 or 10 are always QBs.

why wouldn't I go for a QB first? RvlB is a higher risk and lower reward over the course of the season

Thank you for your well thought out response.
I have 3 questions.

1. I assume you are aware Mahomes wasn't a top 3 QB in TOTAL fantasy points for a QB the last 2 seasons. What made you think he would be the top QB this season?

2. You are wrong in your points assumption (you said - "at the end of the year who has the most fantasy points? like the top 8 or 10 are always QBs"). That's simply not true. Also, did you know McCaffrey averaged 30 fantasy points per game last season and Mahomes averaged 25?

3. The reason why I wouldn't go for a QB first is because if I had the first pick I could get BOTH McCaffrey and a great QB. If I went QB first, I wouldn't get McCaffrey. How do I benefit from that?

He was in my other league

CMC didnt finish the season last year so avgs are moot

in my other league QBs were 8 of 10 spots at the end of the year

I forget what 8 person leagues are like and yea I could probably have gotten A good QB had I gone CMC first....vu, hindsight...what good would that have been with him on the sidelines?

All good!
I'm FAR from being a fantasy football expert.
I hope for your sake that at the end of the season you can give me a giant - I told you so.
I'm rooting for Mahomes and the Chiefs right behind my Bears.
