I don't think the QB slide was obvious when Logan started going in for the hit.

Dumb ass kept running too. Holmberg is a below average QB. So you aren't fooling anyone

I wish KU had a below average QB who passed for over 300 yards, rushed for almost 90 yards, and has 5 total TD's.

You need to play Kansas for that stat line

That OPI cemented the line. Hmmm. Too much damned gambling money

You can see this team is about 2 quarters away from being ‘good’. Just not there yet.

The first half was encouraging, the second half was aggravating.

Right now and for the near for see able future this entire team, including the coaching staff has to be perfect in order to win. The margin for error is none. You can’t miss a wide open Lassiter on third down. If you make a pick you have to get to the house. You can’t run to the field side on 3rd and short. You can’t miss a QB on a blitz. KU, maybe gets one of those plays to miss a game and that’s it. This is and was going to be a tough year because the perceived ‘easy’ games are off the schedule save for maybe TT. You just hope this team doesn’t quit and keeps getting better.

Bout like I expected except with a lot more scoring which is probably preferable honestly.

I think you could say it's all horrendous and get away with it.

It's likely a 1-11 season.

The depth is the problem. Early injuries in the secondary impacted pass defense the rest of the way. It is exciting to see Bean and Wilson hook up and watch the team grow. Should have had 21 more points or so. Leipold needs to add some wrinkles in short yardage situations for sure. A real problem.

I blame the Chi-O house for the season.

One thing that is going to drive many crazy. Leipold and Kotelnicki are conservative in nature. Sure they'll go for it on 4th down often and all that, but their scheme is a conservative scheme. They were conservative during their 2-10 year at Buffalo and during their 10-4 and 6-1 season. But they stick to their guns. They coach the same regardless if they have a good team or a bad team.

But they are establishing what they want to do, and we're just going to have to deal with it. But you can see improvements made. Bean is a dude. Wilson is doing some great things. Neal is getting more comfortable. Locklin is dangerous with the ball.

The defense will need some big time reinforcements over the next couple of years. Specifically in the secondary.

Offensively, at least to me they are working with what they got. They looked wide open against Duke. When was the last time KU had three guys go over a hundid in a game - Neal, Wilson and Bean.

Defensively, and even to a certain degree offensively up front they are having issues. IMO, defensively they get nothing from their LBs. There LB play is atrocious and like CnB mentioned during the game I can't remember a highly recruited player like Potter look so bad. His attempt at getting a sack on Saturday was one of the worst fundamental errors I have seen in quite sometime.
