I sometimes wonder if McConnell could suffer enough or die enough times to make me happy?

So, KC folks. What the heck is going on down there? Making national news as some teens at Park Hill HS started a petition to restart slavery.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/edu ... 822613001/

And then some Olathe South kid is so comfortable in his racism that it was included in his Homecoming sign he made to get a date for homecoming.

https://fox4kc.com/news/olathe-school-d ... -proposal/

WTF?!?

GBA Baby!

I sat in the Wisco student section yesterday.
They have such a lovely creative chant and have had it for quite some time.
You might think the Chancellor would frown upon it and try and get them to stop but hey - kids will be kids.
One side chants "FUCK YOU" to the other side and then the other side chants "EAT SHIT" back at them.
The same students from the same university. I have trouble comprehending why. Is it funny? Is it cute?

My "GBA Baby" loosely translated means what Chad Ochocinco Johnson's "Child please" means.

Sorry but what does that have to do with generational racism? That's just kids being crude dumbasses.

Didn't say or even mean to imply it had anything to do with "generational racism" but since you asked...
If kids don't have (or at least show a lack of) respect for each other (mostly same race/s) my guess is they lack respect for those who they feel are different and dare I say "less" (or perhaps more) than them. Just "different" than them = bad?
These are the same students who started chanting at an obnoxious ND fan - "Daddy's money".
So.... If someone's father has money and that person benefits from it - that's a bad thing in their mind/s?
I guess maybe I am out of touch as an older person living in today's America. I just don't get/understand a lot of "logic" (and/or lack of logic) these days.

Is that in high school? From the picture it appears that the writing is something that would be expected from a second or third grader. I guess the intellectual ability is reflected in the writing

I was a king of saying and doing stupid shit in college. Heck, I'm a king of saying and doing stupid shit 30+ years later.
I laughed when I said to a ND fan sitting in front of me - "Not the brightest student section" (after they were chanting "You fucked up" when ND purposely took a delay of game penalty trying to draw Wisconsin offsides) and the ND fan responded, "There is no bright student section". While debatable, I guess it's probably true that students as a whole are probably are dumbed down when they sit together at sporting events.

5 questions of the day! Jan. 6 subpoena defiance edition:

1. Why weren’t these subpoenas all part of the impeachment trial?
2. Can “executive privilege” still be applied after the fact?
3. Could Trump’s instruction to defy these subpoenas satisfy the threshold for obstruction in itself?
4. What do these folks have to gain by maintaining loyalty to Trump at this point?
5. Could you imagine if a dem pulled these stunts - say, if the Cankles crew defied subpoenas about Benghazi, for instance?

1. Time. Couldn't keep public if they waited for lawsuits to play out.
2. No. It'll go to court.
3. Maybe.
4. Cover of right wing media machine.
5. Yes

Good responses.

1. Congressional investigations stretch for months and years all the time, but I guess Congress was worried they would loose public support if the impeachment went too long. Or, the whole impeachment was little more than a symbolic thing or whatever.

2. It’s kinda wild that so many seem to not realize Trump is no longer in office

3. Break up with her

4. I mean, yeah they’ll get cover from the right wing media machine, but what good will that do against actual legal proceedings?

5. A quick Google suggests the Benghazi investigations lasted 2 years and 4 months - longer than congressional investigations into 9/11, watergate, JFK assassination, and Pearl Harbor. And that was with Cankles playing ball.

Also who’s this chick?
