Couldn't afford Sammy. I'm assuming Gordon is coming in on a minimum deal as his chance to get back into football. Chiefs need a big target. taller athletic receiver.

Possession type receiver. Like to see Gore.

I’m all for it. If anything teams have to respect his size and strength which outside of 87 the Chiefs have none. If and that is a BIG if this could be a great move for the Chiefs. Hopefully he can bring the same kind of production that AB brought to the Bucs last year.

Imagine had we picked Trevon Diggs instead of CEH.
Re: Chiefs 2021
Former NFL referee Terry McAulay, who now serves as an analyst for NBC Sports, said the Chargers absolutely should have been flagged.
“There is no scenario where this is not a foul for defensive pass interference,” McAulay wrote.
Re: Chiefs 2021
There weren't replays on this.
You had just the above to go off of.
Where is the obvious PI here? Where is the jersey grab or hold? Wut?

Master of the obvious (me) says........
A team loses and then people point out bad calls (and non calls) by the refs - and often use those bad calls (and non calls) as AN (not necessarily THEE) excuse why their team lost. That's the norm.
I am yet to see people point out bad calls (and non calls) and use that as A (or THEE) reason why their team won - when their team wins.

Re: Chiefs 2021
These were two very important/pivotal plays in the game.
Both look like they'd have given the Chiefs a significant chance to win.
Pivotal calls don't matter much when your rookie quarterback that you traded up for gets sacked nine times and can't score versus a middling defense.

Bingo. Every fan base in every sport whines about the refs after a loss and the closer or more important the loss, the bigger and louder the whining. Every. Time.NotGutterGutter wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 8:46 am Master of the obvious (me) says........

"Huh? It was an obvious PI. He grabbed his jersey and held him as he tried to break. Sorry, that's a homer complaint."
So you're admitting you just made something up.
Fair.

Thomas Robinson's block on Phil Pressey in 2012 was probably a foul under the applicable rules and definitely a foul under the current rules.NotGutterGutter wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 8:46 am Master of the obvious (me) says........

No, I am admitting that I do not have a photographic memory of a blip moment in time from two days ago. Without the full video of the entire coverage after the foul, I am not comfortable relying on my poor memory.

Re: Chiefs 2021
I called twocoach on it at the time. That PI turned the game. It was literally decided on that play. Defenses tire on stands like that. The call was so egregious that they didn't replay it. I rewound it several times. Gutter absolutely had a worthless take. I do worry that the gambling that is so prevalent--even as YouTube fan site sponsors impacts the calls. We have seen some pretty pathetic calls late in KU games that preserved the betting line. Hell CCU was even blitzing up by multiple scores with less than 30 seconds left.
The optics are terrible. There needs to be accountability. Fire some of these guys and check their affiliations and offshore accounts.

That was the full video of the entire coverage.
CBS did not show a replay.
So you made something up ( i.e. I saw another replay you guys didn't see ) OR you actually believe that, in the video clip above, that you see obvious PI with a jersey grab and holding after the break ( you can't even see the break ).

As I said prior, I do not recall what it was that made me make that comment as it was two days ago. That you are here still spazzing out about it calling me a liar two days later is weird. Time to move on, it's over.pdub wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:14 amThat was the full video of the entire coverage.

Re: Chiefs 2021
You don't recall a post you made two days ago and then followed up with two more posts related to the subject ( this particular 4th and 9 ) arguing against Sparko that the call was bad ( which is was ) ?
So 3 posts you don't recall making. Just two days ago. During the Chiefs game.
Musta been a helluva bender.

I recall posting what I did. I don't recall the blip of what I saw that resulted in me posting what I did. Two separate things. Why is this a thing? Do you not have anything better to do today or are you just in a foul mood?pdub wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:34 am You don't recall a post you made two days ago and then followed up with two more posts related to the subject ( this particular 4th and 9 ) arguing against Sparko that the call was bad ( which is was ) ?

Re: Chiefs 2021
OK, that's fair.
Now with the new information that you have, do you still see obvious PI, a jersey grab and a hold out of the break?
