I understand and support the mandate for healthcare and education for high school and below.
I don't support the mandate for, say, NBA players ( in those cities ).

Man, most healthcare jobs require years of education and training. They just gonna scrap all that for mah rights?

Oh well, I guess.

The world needs ditch diggers too.

To those healthcare workers, I say to them:

1.) Stop complaining.
2.) Go to work.
3.) Do your job.
4.) Repeat cycle.

There’s also reports of cops resigning over vaccine mandates too

I guess that’s one way to defund the police?

Hey, should you be diagnosing without interviewing the subject?
I know! Right?
Despite my having to endure the wrath of the guy who at many times is a complete "neurotic" "mess" on here himself, I couldn't be more fortunate to have him "guess" about me in regards to my experience/s during the pandemic because heck, he diagnosed me to a tee. FREE of charge too!
The one nice thing about having him post on here is that we can count on him to at times be pretentious (often I find it entertaining and humorous - and/or pathetic) and also remind us that when people believe they are prestigious in society, they tend to be basically irrelevant. Or at least not nearly as prestigious as they think/pretend they are.
On a related note, I would think people such as Psych would prefer to interact with intellectuals on their own level then stoop down to the level found on here but hey - this place serves it's purpose for him/them and I will NOT publically "guess" what that purpose is - despite my believing I have a pretty good idea.
You know what, Gutter? When you're right, you're right. I have no idea why I waste time here and occasionally get drawn into the poo-flinging with the rest of the monkeys. That bears serious consideration on my part.

Keep doing what you do: deflecting, blaming, and throwing pity parties. It has obviously worked well for you and brought you a happy, fulfilling life. Far be it from me to tell you how to live. Best of luck to you in continuing to shirk your job duties and remain gainfully employed at the same time.
Respectful response.....
I have an idea why you waste time here but I could be way off.
MAYBE it's because like me (and my guess is many others on here) you come here as an escape or diversion. For me, it's a form of entertainment and interaction. Probably not a very healthy one but one none the less.

As far as what you partially rightly accuse me of doing and being - and wrongly accuse me of doing and being,
I do deflect at times. If/when I feel it's justified.
I do blame at times. If/when I feel it's justified.
I do throw pity parties at times. If/when I feel it's justified.
I don't know how well it does or doesn't work for me but like you said, it's what I do.
Has doing those things brought me a happy and fulfilling life? No.
Have I had a happy and fulfilling life? At times yes. Very much so. At times no. Very much so.
In terms of your accusing me of "continuing to shirk (my) job duties" and remain gainfully employed at the same time, I'm confident there isn't a single person in my company that would accuse me of "shirking my job duties" at ANY point over the past 16 years that I have been employed by the company. In fact, during my reviews, EVERY SINGLE ONE I have been complimented on how reliable and hard working I am.
You tell me where on this thread or at any other time that I have said I wasn't willing to do my job and what is required of me - if people adhere/adhered to safety rules and measures that were put in to place to protect ALL employees health and well being.

I agree completely, firing them is not nearly enough. They need to revoke their licensing as well to make sure that they can't be hired to be nurses somewhere else. That's the logical thing to do.

Some of us are old enough to remember the SNL Steroid Olympics sketch. Briefly, it imagined an even where everyone was doped up. Maybe they can put a no-vax hospital in Mich’s backyard. All the staff wouldn’t be vaccinated for anything. I can just imagine the specials they can run- “get treated for a twisted ankle and get pertussis for free”. They can open branches in Florida and Texas.

We should let surgeons perform surgeries without washing their hands too.

That's the reality you want.

Well, even without revoking licensure, on a de facto level how likely are they to get another healthcare job once the cat’s out the bag about why they left their previous position?

I guess it’s a matter of finding a healthcare job that doesn’t require vaccinations?

or just start a new life chapter serving pina coladas to mich.

Right. Don't you think it's wasteful that every time your doctor uses a tongue depressor to look at the back of your throat, they throw it away? At Mich's hospital they just wipe it off on the leg of their pants and its good to be used again. Save money on your visits because they don't waste money on disposable otoscope tips.

my new favorite part is how the guy comparing vaccines to the Holocaust is also the one telling others they’re loosing touch with reality.
