I just spent the morning clearing, plowing and dragging the back pasture in preparation for getting winter seed down. Had my boy on the tractor with me, no one else around. fresh air, productive, easy going and relaxing. I didnt have a single thought about covid or politics or government or crime or anything other than what was in front of me and what areas I needed to level out etc. Had deer run across in front of us, coyotes on the hill and the dogs running behind the tractor chasing field mice. It was wonderful and mind clearing.
I cant imagine not being able to get out of an apartment, away from people and having to sit there and stew on all the problems of the day.
Oregon but not terribly far from Idaho. Check back in 3-5 years and Tdub will probably be in Idaho....or Montana if I could somehow get the wife convinced that Montana is Idaho but better and only a couple hours farther...
