Fuck you. Just fuck you you evil piece of shit. To compare efforts to save lives, even if they are overreaching, to the systematic torture and killing of people because of their religion... You're evil. Fuck you.
Triggered Karen alert. Its not just about saving lives. Its about using it to monitor and control every action of every citizen. Thats why they don't just vaccinate you and be done with it. They expect you to carry vaccination cards. Thats why they want access to your bank accounts and transactions. I am not religious. But there are a ton of parallels to "the mark of the beast"
Oh Jesus, you're not just evil, you're crazy.

Never once compared the vaccine to the holocaust. I compared the tactics used by our government to gain control over our population to the tactics used by the nazis to gain control their population before the holocaust. Because they did literally the same exact thing. Research history and tell me im wrong
Control over who? Yeah, the vast minority of the population? Muh freedoms rubes?

And do you even understand what a Karen is? No, I am not. I am the grandchild of actual Holocaust survivors, and great grandchild of Holocaust non-survivors. When you compare this to the Holocaust, you are normalizing it you evil piece of shit

I'm somewhat ok with people being asked to test before flying on a plane. It seems somewhat reasonable. Saliva tests are pretty quick and easy. Just check that you arent potentially transmitting this virus all over the world. Seems like it could help limit the spread. Travel is usually a luxury not a necessity

However I think vaccinated people should also be held to this standard. We know for a fact vaccinated people can still contract and transmit covid

karen wrote: the world has seen plenty of pandemics before. they all came to an end. before vaccines were even within human capability, pandemics still came to an end. its just how nature works, a virus runs its course. a small percent dies off and our immune systems and viruses will find some balance
Was thinking about this.

There haven't been that many viral pandemics (a lot are bacterial: plague, cholera, typhoid fever).

What you're saying seems to be true of influenza which has caused several.

The other SARS and MERS viruses never got to this point so aren't a good reference.

It certainly isn't true of HIV, It hasn't become attenuated and our immune systems certainly haven't "found a balance". Any advances against HIV have come thanks to medicine.

It wasn't true of smallpox. The only reason smallpox is no longer an issue is because it's been eradicated...by a VACCINE.

It wasn't true for polio. In fact, polio seemed to get worse and worse over time. Until there was a vaccine, but see smallpox above for what also happened with polio.

So this was yet another example of you not knowing what you're talking about and presenting something as factual, that may not be, or isn't, true at all.

What about the black death? Or Spanish flu. Those are probably the 2 best examples of pandemics that came to a natural end

So Gavin newsom is now mandating children k-12 be vaccinated for covid. The cdc reports covid poses a 0.001% risk to children. But newsom feels its necessary to make that decision for all children. Despite having no medical background and despite us having no clue how this vaccine could affect development or growth in young children long term

This is an example of extreme government overreach. Expect a mass exodus from California. Tons of teachers are already quitting. He did this fresh off his recall election. This is exactly the kind of authoritarian conspiracy people warned against months ago

Basically. Hes making an executive order to inject medicine into your children when we have zero idea if it'll affect their growth or development long term. And the children don't need the medicine. Covid does not pose any danger to them

Black death is caused by Yersinia pestis, which is a bacteria not a virus.

Spanish Flu is influenza.

Risk and lethality are not the same thing.

Lots of long term affects are possible at a much higher rate.

Viruses are known to have long term affects. Vaccines never have.

Randy, this is not a “new” vaccine. Its fundamental properties have been around for decades. Unplug the laptop and get the hell out of your fuhrer bunker for some fresh air.

Ton of research done in SARS and MERS which are also coronaviruses. Both have spike glycoproteins that interact with the ACE2 protein on human cells to gain entry.
This was the target for the vaccines being developed against both. 20 and 10 years of research respectively.

The "newness" of these vaccines have been grossly overstated. Just another excuse by the sissies afraid of needles.

I know it's not helping get people to get people to go take ten minutes of their lives to get a shot with information that natural immunity helps with future issues but I wish that we could all be sane enough to distribute that information on a completely neutral basis without pressure.

I do agree that this has become political. I would say that the Trump supporters, if they were actually not just trying to thumb their nose at the other administration and actually deeply felt they arent concerned of the risk, would have a stronger argument here, but, I'm generalizing, I think largely that's what is happening.

At the core, though, I dont think the government should be involved in forcing an individual what to do with their bodies.
My mind works more in a logical way
