Couldn't cheer for a guy vs. the Chiefs. My heart cost me 20 points. I will lose by way more than that so I am OK with it. My opponent put up crazy points.

And you don't bench the #1 player at his position who had gotten 30+ in every game prior.

Just need Ekeler and Allen of the Chargers to combine for more than 67 fantasy points tonight to win my matchup. Yeah, probably not going to make it.

Brady, Adam Thielen and Adam Jones all had substandard weeks at the same time that my opponent had Tyreek Hill plus three others put up great numbers. In theory, I had guys on my bench all score enough that I could have won but only Hurts was someone that it would have been reasonable to start over who actually started. It happens. At least I will still gain significant ground on the overall high points leader as he is looking at a brutal 80 point week.

Dropped to 2-2. Most points scored and most points scored against. My fantasy season is mirroring the Chiefs season.

Guess you aren't 'skilled' at fantasy football. ;)

The BUD is in an even worse situation.
2nd most PF -- 5 points behind 1st.
0-4.

Russ, Stafford.
Zeke, Chubb, Swift, Hunt, Melvin Gordon.
Metcalf, A Rob ( bust ), Lockett, Marvin Jones, Jeudy.
Pitts, Higbee.
Tampa.

Moved into 1st in my 12 team league.

Qb: murray
Rbs: A Jones, C Edmonds (no good rbs on bench really)
Wrs: tyreek, D Moore, J Chase, S Shepard, C Davis
Tes: M Andrews & D Knox.

I have most points in league....but not sure i can keep it up. My bench Rbs are awful (Hines, Ingram, and R Jones), but have a few waiver claims in to try to upgrade my bench Rbs.

My main league i'm in a similar spot with my 2nd RB.
It's brutal out there.
So bad that i'm crossing my fingers that I can land Damien Williams or Samaje Perine -- to start for me.

I've got a waiver in for Pollard from Dallas just so i have him in case Zeke goes down....but otherwise there is almost nothing out there.

Scratch that....pollard is long gone...that waiver is a different league.

I have a dilemma with my KCrim league. 4 of my bench guys are projected to get double digit points. I mean my team is stacked in that aspect. A ton of really good players.

Right now I have
QB - Russ
RB - Jones - Cincy D is not good
RB - Henderson - He gets points. 44 points over 3 games
WR - Justin Jefferson - Low targets but good quality. TD in 3 straight games.
WR - Jakobi Myers - 26 targets over last 2 games. 25 points over last 2 games.
TE - Fant - My only TE but Bridgewater loves him.
Flex - Jonathan Taylor - Didn't play him last week and he went off. 45 points over 4 games. Not great, but not horrible.

Bench
Ridley - Jets are really good against WR, surprisingly. But a target machine. Doesn't get a lot of yards.
Hubbard - He gets the bulk of carries without CMC.
Godwin - Probably the guy I would bring instead of Myers. Don't like how much Brady likes Brown.
Diontae Johnson - Big Ben only goes at him. Ton of targets. Don't like him against Denver.

That's the trouble with 8 team leagues.
It becomes less of a team management ( i.e. going to the waiver wire ) and more just picking the right guys each week to start from your roster.

I prefer 12-14 team leagues where you have to be active to make your team better.

Yeah, you definitely have to manage more in bigger leagues. You're more likely to miss out on your max possible points in an 8 team league with so many good players sitting on your bench. It's a good problem to have but can be maddening. At least everyone else has the same problem. In bigger leagues, most people have garbage on their bench.

I am trying to figure out how to add Hollywood Brown to my starting roster. He has been putting up consistent numbers on my bench every week except for Week 3 when he dropped three touchdown passes.

He plays Indy this week, who has not been good vs. #1 WRs and who has no one who can keep up with him. My 3 WRs right now are McLaurin, Keenan Allen and Adam Thielen. Allen goes against Cleveland and Thielen goes against Detroit. Then I have Darrell Henderson as my flex but he is cranking out a consistent 12-15 points every time he plays and Seattle has given up some big numbers on the ground. I also might try to start Dallas TE Schultz, who goes up against the terrible Giants, over Ravens TE Mark Andrews.

I would avoid Montgomery. So if you have him, get rid of him. If you are offering him, I wouldn't.
