Clearly got bullied into calls or lack of them by the home crowd. But how many of those times has that happened at AFH. Once DL got his third foul the whole game changed.

On the road, in that environment, you have to be better. Refs were AWFUL but no excuse KU gave that game away.

Not a bad time to lose. This team has been flirting with a loss like this for a better part of a month. Time for a reset.

KU guards have to be smarter on that weave hand off. How many times has Grimes been called for that this year? At least four or five.

I don’t remember exactly but it seemed like other than Garrett all the rest of the guards just floated around the 3 line. I could be wrong.


It does suck to waste a mans game from DL but I hope this is a great wake up call for the rest of the team. Give or take 8 or 9 minute stretches at a time this team just doesn’t look ‘right.’

It sucks to lose. KU was clearly the better team but in reality I want to know how this team looks in March and April.

It's a great loss.
We needed a loss ( and i know other people disagree having a loss doesn't help - i think it does as a motivational tactic ).
There were things we did wrong - but good lord, we had this game even with our flaws if the officials made the correct calls down the stretch.

Forget about the final minutes where nothing went KU's way. Martin was allowed to do whatever he wanted all game long. Never seen a game where one player was officiated differently than the other 9.

I think Self is a coach that uses loosses.
It's a fantastic loss for us going into B12 play imo.
Players know they shoulda won but got fucked b/c of the calls in the last minutes but also the players know they shoulda been up by 10-12 instead of 5 with 4 minutes left.

Normally you lose because you didn't make the plays. In this case, I agree with you all, we got worked by the officials. One of the worst officiated games since WVU 2-3 years ago.

I remember that game well.
That one was worse than this.
This one was four calls down the stretch ( still a possible 10-12 point swing ) .

That one was an entire game of uncalled hand checks and lopsided touch fouls.
