We do $100 per team, $5 per FA signing, $10 per trade. 2nd place gets $100. Winner gets the rest.

No weekly winner? Only two people get any money? No thanks.

Too much to pay for such low odds of a return for me. Do you have more turnover of league members or do you have a pretty dedicated group that stays in year after year no matter what?

I'd rather a higher buy in at the start and no $$ for transactions.
That deters making moves - and I think the best leagues are the most active ones.

Our little $1 fee doesn't seem to deter anyone. We've had 12 roster moves since Wednesday in our league activity tracker. I doubt we'd have that at $10 each.

Between the $10 weekly high point total, the overall high point winner and the 1st-3rd payout at the end, it greatly increases the chance that people stay invested and active through the whole season. Seems to keep our members from throwing in the towel and doing the bare minimum once they see they aren't likely going to be a contender. Each league is different. It would be nice to be in a league where everyone was super in to it.

It's entertainment. Not an investment.

Most are pretty regular. I don't even know who most of them are in real life. Some guy I work with runs it. We do NFL and NBA.

No worries. That's a fat payout if you win and others are willing to keep funding it.

Oh and Kirk Cousins can go fuck himself. Throw Thielen the ball you weirdo.

Thank goodness Brady went for a 40 piece vs. the Dolphins.

Like I said, luck only comes into play on injuries and scheduling. You're getting the bad luck on injuries, I am getting it on scheduling.

My last 4 opponents have gone for 180, 145, 161 and 160 fantasy points, each their high on the season. Scoring 154, 152, 129 and 142 should get you a better record than 1-3 over 4 games.

I have a good team with zero injury issues. Just getting terrible match ups.

142 points for my starters and 110 more for my bench.

And I lost. Argh. Three on my bench went for 30+.

My three starting WRs got 4, 5 and 7 5 points. My three bench WRs got 12.5, 19.5 and 23. This is getting old.

I needed a Buffalo FG to win my fantasy match up this week. Lost by 2. Now I hate the Bills even more. Good for the Chiefs but grr.....

Should I make this move ( and run the risk of reinjury, thus no output )?

Trade Darrell Henderson and Emanuel Sanders for Christian McCaffrey ( a walking IR designation )?

1) Is the league for money?
2) Are you in position to win any money?
3) Do you have other good RBs/WRs that you can afford to be without Henderson/Sanders?
4) Any idea when McCaffrey is slated to be back? Any updates from local Panthers beat writers on his progress?

1. Yes.
2. 4-3. 5th place. 6 teams make it to playoffs.

3. Najee Harris. Then big drop off to Darrel Williams and Alexander Mattison.
WRs are solid for 12 team. Davante Adams, Antonio Brown, Robert Woods, Michael Thomas, Devonta Smith.

4. 3 weeks IR would have him back not this week but next so I could go with Najee and Williams this week and hope McCaffrey is on schedule. Haven't heard anything on progress.

Both my teams were absolute garbage this weekend.

Still in good shape as far as standings go. But it was an ugly weekend. Especially in my 12 team league. Lowest point total of the year. Thanks Patrick. Lost by about 30. But still would have won against some of the others who are going to win this week.
