I think I am going to make that move - McCaffrey is healthy, I win the league.
If not, welp, i'm def gonna loose.

12 team ( 2 RB, 3 WR, no FLEX ) would be:

Kyler Murray
Najee Harris, McCaffrey, Darrel Williams, Alexander Mattison
Adams, Antonio Brown, Michael Thomas, Robert Woods, Devonta Smith
Gesicki

Just got two sacks by the New Orleans defense to win my match up by 2 points. Finally caught a break in a week with 4 starters on bye.

I’m now 5-2 in my Keeper league with 100 more fantasy points than the next person. Fuck fantasy football.

I was on the verge of dropping to 2-5 in my league and lead the league in scoring. This has been the flukiest season I have ever had. 3-4 keeps me in the pack and close to the leaders. One guy is 5-2 and a few are 4-3. A few hot weeks and I am right back in it. Hopefully getting a win in my lowest scoring week of the season was the break I needed.

Only a 2 point difference between the two in my league right now, with Mahomes ahead.

My goofy win pulled me all the way up to the 5 seed. One guy is 5-2, three are 4-3 and and 6 are 3-4. Three dumb moves away from being 6-1, grrrr. Everyone is beating up everyone else. Still have a 49 point lead for high points. I really want to win that high points money so I am not totally reliant on winning the playoffs to get some good money.

Yup. It's close.
But she loves Mahomes.
He won her the league last go around.

And I think he'll have to point up more points to keep the Chiefs in it more often than Stafford.

Too nervous McCaffrey has another setback and I have Ridley as insurance - Hubbard is already taken.
And I like Emanuel Sanders in spots.

Still zero trades so far in my league. With only 10 teams, there isn't much need for it. It seems pretty rare that a trade is much more than a lateral move unless you roll the dice on an injured guy, fleece someone who doesn't pay attention or someone blows up in the 2nd half who wasn't that great early.

I could use an upgrade at WR as my current fleet of WRs aren't performing great, especially Keenan Allen. But who is going to trade me a better WR for him? Would I have to throw in one of my 3 Top 15 RBs? Then I am just getting weaker at one position to hopefully improve another position. What's the point of that? Marquise Brown has been a late round steal for me and is going to bump Allen out of his starting spot from here on out. And then I have Antonio Brown on my bench as well who will play this week since Marquise Brown is on a bye week. My TE Mark Andrews is on bye as well but I picked up Dallas TE Schultz off waivers and he is TE8 so far this year. No need to ever make a trade if you paid attention and drafted your bench well or snagged the right guys off waivers, especially as bye weeks force people to release guys that they might not want to off their bench.

My opinion of course.

I just traded a guy who needed RB depth, thinks the Pats and Damien Harris are only going to get better and thinks Cooks is a better WR ROS with Tyrod returning soon. I gave up the no. 1 rusher in Baltimore, Murray in the deal too. I got Henderson and Antonio Brown. I think AB can keep up the pace--he obviously doesn't think so ( since Evans and Godwin are on that squad ).

Depends on your league but I have never seen a need for it. I don't like to propose a trade that is a fleecing and I dont like to trade one set of issues for another in weakening one position to strengthen another. I haven't been fortunate enough to have so many elite players at a position that I could get rid of one or two to upgrade a position. Maybe if I was in an 8 team league.

Some value the players more than others.
Some look at the SOS.
Some people are weak in a position and have some depth they can deal.

I just think you're completely wrong.
There are at least 5 trades, usually around 10, in my league every year.
Sometimes you make the right call, sometimes you don't.

And sometimes what you consider a fleecing, the other person considers a deal.

Later down the line in my league, I have some possible trade bait if Michael Thomas comes back healthy. In a league where guys like Emanuel Sanders and Devonta Smith can start as high end no. 3 WRs.

This is hypothetical but I could deal a guy like Sanders and Darrel Williams for Chase Edmonds. One owner thinks Edmonds isn't worth starting b/c he's not scoring TDs and thinks Williams will keep a role in the KC offense. Maybe I think Edmonds is due and am willing to give up my no. 4 WR and my no. 4 RB to take the chance.

I've won seasons because of good trades ( traded Keenan Allen, Jakoby Brissett and Damien Harris for Davante Adams last year ) .
I've lost seasons because of bad trades ( traded for Leveon Bell and he never returned, traded for Adam Thielen off his injury and he never produced, traded for Kamara in 2019 and he shat the bed ).

BUD just traded Stafford for Mahomes straight up.
It's an even trade right now.
Could win one of them the league.

My most recent trade has already come back to bite me.
I thought Antonio Brown would be out for just a week - now he could go to the IR.

I got: Darrell Henderson, Antonio Brown.
He got: Damien Harris, Brandin Cooks, Latavius Murray.
He wins.

Benching guys when I shouldn't have and losing a week drives me crazy for weeks. I have cost myself three wins and probably 80 points overmanaging my team already.

If I had a trade go bad it would piss me off all season. Another reason why I don't even take that risk. I just have a hard time letting that stuff go; a personality trait that I dislike but that I recognize.

The guy who leads my division in fantasy (for now) has both Derrick Henry and Aaron Rodgers. Rough week for him.
