Well, it’s china, so 1 positive test reported probably means there were really 10,000+.

Their reporting has been a joke the whole time.

COVID-19 vaccine gives 5 times the protection of 'natural immunity,' data show

https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/news-perspec ... -data-show
US adults who previously had COVID-19 contracted the disease at more than five times the rate of those who were fully vaccinated...

the body of evidence continues to grow that, despite their imperfections, COVID-19 vaccines continue to work very well, and today's study adds to that. Officials with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), who led the study, say of the results, "All eligible persons should be vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible, including unvaccinated persons previously infected with SARS-CoV-2."

Two of my coworkers announced that they tested positive for covid at the end of last week.

One said she is asymptomatic and feels fine. The other has a 105 degree fever, horrible headaches and is having trouble breathing.

Guess which one is vaccinated and which one is unvaccinated and told me she thinks this whole pandemic thing has been overblown.

I hope not, she is a necessary part of my team and pretty nice. She's been struggling since last Thursday so hopefully she starts feeling better soon. I saw her online for a few minutes a little bit a go and saw a few emails come out from her so she seems to feel well enough to log in here and there to do a bit of work. Hopefully she gets to the other side of this.

I'm not one to revel in someone's passing -- regardless of the fact that such passing was caused solely by their own idiocy. But my friend sent me this Reddit thread, which is a collection of anti-vax/covid-deniers who have paid an unfortunate price as a result of their ignorance and baseless defiance. Maybe somebody here (e.g., a few certain and specific posters) might learn something from the above link.

A peer-reviewed article came out talking about the proteins in SARS-CoV-2 that cause heart attacks and strokes were identified.

in some cases, in some cases could be lethal.

But if you die of a stroke or heart attack, you're probably dying "with covid19" not from "covid19"...errr sumthing.

They didn't get into it, but the spike protein wasn't identified as being a problem in their screen, which would speak to the safety of getting the vaccine over risking getting the virus.

i disagree. almost all the real folks are good folks.

it's the interwebz whackjobs leading the charge of the worst. they aren't real. so they don't count.
