If Rodgers had done a better assessment from the beginning and been vaccinated this would all be moot.

It is his body.
He's dumb and it may cost the Packers a win ( and Cascadia effect, a home playoff game, and then a title ) - but it is his body.

He has the right to those decisions.

He could amputate all four limbs too.

I'd feel comfortable saying that was a wrong decision too. But at least that wouldn't unnecessarily put others in increased danger.

He could.
But there'd be so much straw coming out of that man then that we could start a pillow stuffing business.

Henry Ruggs was putting alcohol in his own body too, and drove his own car with his own loaded gun with his own body too. I think he made a dumb decision too.

If that means I'm on a witch hunt, I'm comfortable with that.

You're grossly downplaying the severity of SARS-COV-2 and grossly downplaying the efficacy of the vaccine to justify your argument.

( and i'm guessing next up is the reference to the number of deaths in the USA and round and round we go -- does not change that A. LOLing, ridiculing those who suffer from COVID after not getting vaxxed helps nothing B. wanting those who don't get vaccinated to suffer professionally helps nothing -- which is the general base of my argument tonight )

Over 700,000 Americans have died from covid. In a normal year 10-11,000 Americans die in fatal alcohol related car accidents.

A salient argument can be made that not getting vaccinated is more dangerous and irresponsible than driving drunk.

focusing on that just emboldens and supports antivaxxers. Something you do frequently. You're painting them as victims when really they're the problem.

And also no.

I can be open to supporting someone's right to do with their own body by also thinking they are making the wrong decision. I can also say that there is a general feel from one side of the spectrum that is almost ( almost? no, definitely ) gleeful when there is suffering from that wrong decision. And I can also say that I think that's not the best route at getting more people vaccinated.

I'm not painting people as victims -- i'm just saying I don't think the best course of action is hate -- and i'm just not fully agreeing exactly with you.

It affects other people. Just like drunk driving, or someone who prepares food not washing their hands.
