Joel Embiid

That's great that they are in that place. Today.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 7:22 am The Clippers are 5th in the west. Time for you to shut up and admit you had no idea they were good this year.
Or we can keep repeating ourselves since you've said what you said about 4 times and I'm right there with you.
On Nov. 9th when Butler last ranted his preferences, the Clippers were at 6-5 on the year and fresh off a 10th place finish in the Western Conference. Also known as having no more chance to win than the team he was already on.
You are offering up nothing more than circumstantial at best "evidence" to support your desire to argue over stupid shit. You enter into pointless debates over pointless things like this at an exhausting volume and them barf remnants and snarky reminders of it on every other thread you touch for the next 5 days. It's nauseating and tiring.
It is my OPINION that he wanted to play in one of the big markets and be the top dawg. I am fairly certain than when a player in general states that he is wants to play for a winner that he doesn't mean a case like the Knicks or Nets, two teams that have combined for zero playoff appearances in the last 3 seasons.
Feel free to get the last word in because I am done with this stupid conversation. Ridiculous.
Re: Joel Embiid
Fun player. Amazing talent. I hope he stays healthy for the next 10+ years and we get to watch his continued development. With LeBron out of the East it will be interesting to see how the battle to represent the conference in the NBA Finals goes for the next 5+ years.
Re: Joel Embiid
The wolves seem poised to break out. The 76ers may have some issues down the road. Wish Mason could be there instead of Jimmy.

Re: Joel Embiid
No pass means more than chucking. There are times when Butler won’t pass to the right guys. Hate his attitude. He is a corrosive teammate IMHO.
Re: Joel Embiid
I am not a big fan of Simmons' game. Today's NBA is not meant to have a PG who cannot shoot at all. Simmons has a unique skills set but you gotta have the exact right system built around him.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 2:51 pm https://start.att.net/news/read/article ... ory/sports
I dunno. But it seems like if you swapped Simmons for any of the elite scoring PGs that Philly would seem to be better.
Re: Joel Embiid
So much of it has to be in Simmons' head, right? He's not broken like Fultz.
It would be selfish of Simmons NOT to work his ass off to become a passable 3pt threat.

Re: Joel Embiid
He either needs to become a somewhat capable shooter or an elite passer. He's a good passer, but not enough to overcome the shooting deficiencies, to be elite
Re: Joel Embiid
He can't be the best player on a contender, but he can be the 2nd or 3rd best player on a contender....which he is.
Often overlooked is that he's pretty good on defense.

Re: Joel Embiid
Who are you talking about? Simmons or Butler? I assume Simmons because that's who 2, Fish, and MJ were discussing before your post.
If you think about it, perhaps the 76ers might try to win some games based on being the better defensive team and not the better offensive team.

Back to Embiid......
Hey kids, look what happens when you are getting laid frequently.
You have less time to fuck around on social media.

30 points, 14 rebounds in the first half.
Re: Joel Embiid
Ummmm...seems like Butler isn't the amazing team mate that a few on this board consider him to be:

Are you trying to be a hammer or a screwdriver? You're trying way too hard.
Ummmmm.......I guess Joel isn't such an amazing teammate based on your logic/example that you are choosing to use for Butler. Right?
