Joining the Aryan Nations or what? (lol, i kid)

I'd definitely pick Northern Idaho over Texas (with the exception of Austin) any day. Absolutely stunning place. I'll be there in two weeks for work.

Congrats man

Do tell. New job? Property? Are you abandoning the Empire?

New job, not a lateral move.

The Empire is still very much in our plans.

That drive is gonna be a bitch. There will be a beer in the fridge waiting for you when you get there.

Got a call from the mayor of Hooper yesterday. 2 potential sellers of Hwy 17 frontage properties!
Fingers crossed.

That would be a great location for you. I hope it works out. I drove through there last Friday and looked for "for sale" signs but didn't see any.

You know how it works. A long series of cold calls from numbers generated through the "you should talk to this guy" network.
You gave me some great starting points.

Mrs 99 and I will celebrate our 36th anniversary this month.
Thinking of spending a few days in Ashville, NC.
Anyone been? Where to stay, where to eat/drink? Stuff old ladies like?

So I've heard. Definitely will check that out. Beer isn't exactly Mrs 99's thing. She prefers sweet drinks that don't taste like booze.

Have her try some seltzers and ciders. Hard to find a brewery now that isn't making its own.

A couple years back I had a client whose sister was starting/started a seltzer bar - or is it seltzer brewery? Seltzery? - or whatever in I think Asheville.

Just googling it, I think it’s the Holy Water Hard Seltzer Brewpub, and apparently, sushi too!

I was also gonna suggest Smoky Mountain NP, but thought it was closer to Asheville than it apparently is

Been there, We will have to drive by it. The drive from Knoxville to Ashville is pretty cool.
We have been through Ashville a couple of times on our way to Charleston, just never stopped.

Right on.

Pretty sure there’s plenty of cool outdoorsy stuff around Asheville too.

Maybe go for a hike or go throw stuff in a river or sumptin
